BABoon's 5/3/1 Log

It has come to my attention that I am computer illiterate. This is the best I can do. Sorry.

Hey, btw, do you have any videos left of me on your video-cam?

I feel sparks <3
That squat depth (and how you make it look so easy) is amazing.
State record for DL is pretty hardcore.

And you’re a hottie… there I said it

Right back at ya, babe;) Don’t kid yourself into thinking I haven’t had a second look at that avatar.

Glad you appreciate the depth. Speaks volumes about you as a leg aficionado. And I promise that not only is that DL record getting broken, but the SQ as well.

I just noticed my hair never looks the same. Buzzed, short, long. Clean cut, stubble, ferocious beard. Must make up my mind.

I think I have a few uploaded on my computer. I’ll bring it tonight for your deadlift session.

DEADLIFT: 330x5, 375x5, 430x12, 430x1x3
GOOD MORNING: 242x2,3,5,2,3
LUNGES: 154x10x2
GH RAISE: 50x10x3
GH SIT-UP: ORGx15x4
Conditioning: PROWLER (90lb.) 20 yds. down and back, rest while another guy did it; x10

Video to follow.
This was a really good deadlift for me, but after I hit it for 12, my mind was kind of out of it. It took entirely too long to complete this workout.

Atta baby. Thanks Donut.

Sure I know about squat depth, still can’t achieve it. But I can definetely appreciate it.
I love all your different hair styles, you look good in them all.

Uhm, what is that blonde doing in the background of the vid?

Anyway, you’re awesome and hawt, pretty much what I’ll say everytime you get a vid up

She is doing some sort of hip activation exercise they have the kids do. Most of the performance training that goes on at the gym is rectifying kids being lazy for most of their formative years, so they have these weird movement patterns, inflexibility, & general weakness.

Oh, & you would not believe how big my smile is after that little comment.

Oh… now I’m disappointed, I thought she was dancing. I guess I’m back to being the only one getting into the music between sets.

I speak nothing but the truth, Darling. But I will take advantage of the fact that I can make you cheese off of compliments like that.

So, apparently I was already signed up on here and didn’t even realize it. I see Donut has already posted your deadlift video here too. Less work for me!

So, apparently I was already a member on these forums. I guess its been so long I forgot. I see I won’t have to post the DL video from yesterday since Donut has already done so.

Lil W! Good man. Glad to have you aboard.

MILITARY: 138x5, 154x5, 171x11 (PR), 154x3x5
NEUTRAL GRIP CHINS: 70x3x5; BWx21,5,5,5,5
DIPS: 106x3x5; BWx35,10,10,10,10
HANGING LEG RAISE: x20x3
*OTHER AB MOVE: x5x3
Conditioning:
A1) Sledgehammerx8 each hand
**A2) Prowler (100lb.) 10 yds down
A3) Push-ups x 10
A4) Crunches x 20
A5) Lap around the building

x7

*I don’t know what to call this. I hold onto a decline bench (face-up) with my hands where your feet would normally go. Then I do a reverse crunch and lower without allowing my lower back to touch. I am told some people call these, “Bruce Lees.”
**Normally there are 5 jumps onto the tire before the Prowler, but the guys that wanted to hop in with me today were not too keen on jumping.

They’re Dragon Flags babe.
It’s pretty hawt that you can do those.

I’ve heard them called that as well, hence the confusion ;). But thank you. I take pride in my midsection.

That conditioning circuit was killer for my first time back. Looking forward to more of those!

SQUAT: 308x5(should’ve been 3), 353x3, 397x8,2,2,1,1,1
RDL: 397x2x4
FRONT SQUAT: 275x2x4
KB SWINGS: 180x10x3
Conditioning: Big Hill (roughly 40 yds, steep) x16; 45 sec. rest at bottom of hill.

I got the # of reps I wanted on my top set of squats, but it was horrifying. I never found my groove even though I felt strong. I was breaking with my knees first, not sitting back, looking down, resetting my feet. Bad news all over. Except that I did get the reps.

Eh, that’s understandable; the weight probably just seemed new. You’ll ‘find your groove’.

Oh and… you’re awesome
