I was hoping for some training tips regarding this physical fitness test. The AWG combat PFT has three events: 1)4-mile run 2)6ft. wall climb 3)carry a 165lb. dummy for 50 meters. The events are performed wearing uniform, boots, body armor and helmet which add another 30-35lbs to the body. I'd be grateful for any suggestions on training without destroying my knees, hips or spine.

Do you know how you stand on those vents right now?
You obviously need to be able to run a good bit longer than 4 miles if your going to be time, especially with extra gear. Maybe every other week do a long run, 6-8 miles, with shorter 2-4 runs at a faster pace throughout the week.
I’d do some pratice with the gear to get used to it, but I don’t think you should do all your miles in it.
Get a sandbag and load it up, at least 165, but if you can, heavier, and practice with it.
I don’t know anything about wall climbing and can’t help you other than to say make sure you can do it before the actual test.
