OK, had a few moments to actually study the bench.
Huh?
The last in-home client session I brought a 7’ dowel and a oly bar and some plates along with a med. ball.
IIRC we did the following;
Overhead squats
Cleans
Presses
Front squats
Barbell rows
Deadlifts
High pulls
Floor presses
Curls
Full-contact twists
Close grip benches (he had an old flat bench in his cellar)
Bulgarian squats
Power and hang snatches
Lunge walks
Med. ball throws
He got fairly proficient rather quickly so I was lucky to run through so many exercises in an hour-and-a-half. I devided these into three full-body workouts.
Imagine how much better this routine could’ve been had I bought that $500.00 bench!

This was an entertaining thread to read through. I didn’t want to bump this for any reason, but I just had to point out that everytime someone responds to this guy he gets free advertising for his $500 gadget swirly bench…so sorry I had to bump this again, but I think it needed to be said. Let the thread die.[/quote]
To me, it’s hardly advertising if the bench and the OP get trashed with almost every post.
Yes, I clicked over to the site but was even more dismayed when I saw what it was for myself.
I like it how everyone who doesn’t agree with him is arrogant and close minded.
Does anyone else see the irony in this?
“You don’t agree with me. Don’t be close minded and see that I am right!”
I am also an exercise professional. I have learned that there are many ways to do things and there is rarely 1 correct way.
I see other professionals doing silly things all the time. It is not my job to correct them or get into a pissing contest about who is right an wrong. My duty is to my clients. If someone doesn’t want to take my advice, I don’t care. That’s their choice and I wish them the best.
