I hadn’t thought of it, but that’s certainly a factor for me. I’m average height, but proportionatly very long torso-d, with correspondingly short arms and legs and very short thighs. I guess I have the opposite problem from the ectomorphs who train and train and have trouble putting on any mass.
Now all I have to do is lean out several % points so it’s clear that it’s muscle not flab.
This thread has been very helpful to me. Not only in the ways I expected, but I discovered that when I used a much narrower stance for romanian DLs that I could lift more than w/ a wider stance.
