I have this medical diagnosis too. I was diagnosed in 2021 and along with taking a BP medication, the issue is under control. The key test is the micoralbumin/ creatinine ratio, Although my number is high. 565, two yrs ago it was over 1500, it should be under 30. It’s determined in urinalysis, So yesterday I had a follow up with the news that my issue is not getting worse and is stable. My doctors goal for me is to stay under 1000. The doc said to eat protein as I normally do, but limit salt intake and training with very heavy weights … 3-6 reps heavy. due to my BP and it also lower salt reduces stress on the kidneys. I take 100mg losartan daily for BP along with 300mg Lebatalol, They think High Blood pressure may have caused this, or it could be autoimmune, but it’s under control . I follow up with my kidney specialist every thee months or so with blood and urine tests to monitor this condition. Otherwise I feel great and never knew I had this until a routine annual physical exam with blood and urine tests in 2021. One telltale sign of this is tons of bubbles in the toilet water after I pee, its the only symptom I have other than the numbers from the labs, Those yearly exams are very important for all of us.
