Aussie sources of quality meat

This is for all the Aussie T-Maggers… ‘Cleavers’ grass-fed organic beef is available through Coles and Safeway in Vic and NSW, though not all stores seem to stock it, you may need to ask the staff in the meat section. Safeway in Mt Waverley stocks it, for all the Mt Waverley T-folk. Also the Vic Markets has a stall with grass fed organic beef. There is also the Chicken Pantry there that stocks a lot of wild game meats. If anyone in Adelaide knows of a grass-fed beef butcher could you let us know, as I go over there ocasionally. Vawsers on Goodwood Road used to be good but they shut down a few years back…

I sometimes shop @ Safeway in Mt.Waverley, but more often Coles in Pinewood or Richie’s in Mt.Waverley. I never see any big guys walking around the Mt.Waverley shops, just countless old men and women who can’t seem to drive around that confusing car-park properly. What is this organic beef like? I’m not too fussy about the meat that I buy, but if its cheap and pretty lean, I’m interested.

The car park is a bit fucked up actually, LOL. Anyway, blade steak and beef mince, lamb chops and lamb mince are the most reasonably priced Cleaver cuts, $ 12-14 a kilo. The stall at the Vic markets is a touch cheaper. Forget the porterhouse, scotch or rump, you will need to sell your house to eat those regularly…

i didnt know that the vic market sold organic meat…ill have to check it out…good post…thanx…oh…yeh…i train in the mt waverly area too
