Looking strong, Julie! No belt for the DL? And did you ever break in your Velocity?
I really enjoy these check-in threads.
I’ll jump in. Just my stats for today. Pics will be up tomorrow.
Note: Each measurement taken at largest point
Weight: 187lbs
Neck: 18"
Shoulders: 53"
Chest: 48"
Arms: 15.75"
Belly @ Navel: 36.5"
Glutes: 41
Thigh: 27
Calves: 14.75
And if you haven’t yet figured out I’m a powerlifter from those wack measurements, here are my lifts:
Squat: 425lbs
Bench: 315lbs
Deadlift: 475lbs
P. Press: 225lbs
I’m currently ~60% done my bulk (looking to hit 200lbs by October/November) Then I’ll be cutting to around 170-ish

Thanks Snap. I used a belt on the second and third set. I prefer to go without as much as possible. They still weren’t as tough as the front squats though. We do those after deadlift and pull ups and they never fail to suck.
I haven’t had a suit on since nationals and have no desire to put one on right now. Because I pull sumo, the suit wasn’t difficult to break in. I just never found it worked as well as my centurion. The hips never felt stiff enough and that’s where I feel like I get the most pop off the floor.

Huge obviously.
Hey you see how the infini-mirror effect you got goin on seems to get greener and greener as it goes back? Mirrors don’t reflect light perfectly. They absorb just the tiniest amount of green, and when you get the endless mirror effect you’re able to reproduce it enough to eventually see it. So just in case anyone was wondering what color mirrors are; they’re technically green.[/quote]

Shhh…

Full length mirror in the hotel gym, so I took some leg pics.
Leg veins…
I’ll sit this one out as no noticeable changes since July. Lifts steadily improving though ![]()
Colluci is always full of great initiatives. =)
My back, doing a lot deadlifts lately for back thickness, hammies and quads. Almost at the end of stint of my doggcrapp blast.

8-Week Measurement Summary
Bodyweight: - 5.2 pounds
Neck: No change
Inhaled Nip Line: - 1/2 inch
Exhaled Navel: - 2 3/4 inches
2" Below Navel: - 3 1/4 inches
Right Arm: No change
Left Arm: No change
Right Thigh: +1 inch
Left Thigh: + 3/4 inch
Right Calf: No change
Left Calf: - 1/4 inch
Jaw-dropping progress? Clearly not by any means. But I’m happy enough seeing the overwhelming majority of fat dropping from the waist and everything else ending up pretty much in place size-wise, especially since experimenting with basic supps only (Grow! whey and Surge Recovery, not HOT-ROX, no Indigo, etc.).
Also, inb4 “Take off your sweater before posting pics, you filthy furball.” The secret’s out. I’ve got Italian and Polish genes, so sue me.

Do you ever lie on the floor in front of a fireplace disguised as a bear skin rug? lol
I believe you need to shave the goatee, but keep the stache. You could be the next John Holmes.
When is the next check in? You guys will likely see me pulling over four plates by whatever time the next check in is. ![]()

Just once, way back on prom night. It worked.

Right, yes, the goatee is the only difference between me and John Holmes. Yep. No, really. Anyway…

Yeah, it’s kinda ended up as an every two months-or-so type of thing. Originally, I suggested every six months (August and Feb, to allow for more progress/difference and to prevent the idea from getting stale), but if other folks start them whenever, it’s not exactly the end of the world.
