February Photo/Video Check-in

This is an idea to improve the forum community, but this thread absolutely does not reflect any type of “official” T-Nation site membership requirement. It’s an idea that’s been percolating for a while, and I’m just some schmoe on the forum who figured I’d start a thread about it.

It’s a check-in, not a call-out. The idea is to improve the sense of community and remind us all that, no matter what we post about here and what initially brought us to the site, the one common trait that every forum member should have is a consistent drive to attack our training and see results, period.

I’m asking for all forum members to post a current snapshot of themselves. And let’s try not to get too distracted or off-topic with critiques of what gets posted. There should end up being more posts with images attached, than not.

If your goals are physique-based - you want to get bigger or get leaner or get bigger and leaner - toss up a current pic.

If your goals are performance-based - the powerlifter, the fighter, the Olympic lifter, etc. - you’re not excused. You’re invited to post a short video clip from a recent training session.

I’m just asking you to participate and play a role in improving the quality of the forum as a whole by reinforcing the idea that T-Nation members know how to do more than just rack up high post counts in the non-training-related sections of the site.

Concerned about staying anonymous? Sites like http://www.pixlr.com and http://www.fotoflexer.com are free Photoshop-like websites that make it ridiculously simple to edit/blur/obscure your face, identifying tattoos, birthmarks, background detail, or anything else that might threaten your anonymity. So, no excuses.

Up about 5 pounds from November/December-ish. Also, I really just like this shirt.

I might not be much to look at, but I try to be useful.

This is how I do pulldowns most of the time. Allows a more-than-full stretch at the top since the stack would rest before I fully extend if I sat on the seat. The issue has popped up once in a while, usually in “tall lifter help”-type threads.

^Photoshop

no shirt is that awesome.

Damn, busted again. :frowning: That’s twice in a year I’ve been caught 'Shoppin. I was actually wearing my “I’m a Belieber” tank top. Apologies for the deception.

This is from about 10 days ago. Not sure there is any significant difference from my last one. I’m just a touch lighter than before (closer to a legit 198 rather than 205 resting weight).

that beard is awesome! you’ve definitely made great progress since your goatee

hmpf! Way to steal my idea.!

I haven’t changed much since the Dec call out. But I may play, gotta take some new pics though.

I had been training exclusively Olympic lifts for three months however i tore a ligament in my shoulder after a rather dodgy snatch.

Basically pressing is ruled out for the next few weeks so having to work round it.

Just a wee video to prove that I actually work out

Chris, nice thread - thanks for starting it.

Checking in at about 189 lbs. in this pic from today. Just looking to stay in the game, keep getting a little bigger, wider, and thicker up top, and stay lean and mean so I can dominate the 50-something fat-guy crowd in my local tennis league.

Very cool to see another good turnout so far. Good stuff all around.

Chris, how are those dumbbell C&Ps progressing?

Impressive! And you have the exact same abs as me, WE ARE AB TWINZ (when you can see them that is)

Will have pics as soon as I figure out how to upload from an iPad

Meh, they’re right where I left them. I haven’t really done them much since working on the article. I just took my run at it, learned some stuff along the way, and moved on.
