Thanks OG. I just can’t seem to catch up to you. Thanks Jack.
Steve, I thought you were right behind me. And…I thought looking at the wife and kids would be better than my ugly mug.
Shoulders and Back
I have hit the plateau and am falling into the valley. Time to see if I can if I can halt the slide and anchor myself until I can regroup.

It was a nice PR to get, but everything felt heavy. Need to regroup and figure a way to keep mpving forward, not sit at a plateau for months.

Thank you! I am just happy that my reps/1RM’s seem to keeping doing what my age is…going up.
Strong pressing LS. Congrats on the 300.

Thank you. The 300# was a long time in coming. Let’s hope that the journey to 315# isn’t as arduous.
What happened to J_Willy (Wilson) and Soldog (George)? Were they abducted?
Arms
I love arm days. They are so laid back compared to major lift days. I can even forego heavy music for some classics. And the pump is a nice change from the strained feel I get on heavy lifts. Anyway…

Bench and Krocs…
Last workout of the week. I have taken today and tomorrow off. So, I got in a little early. I wasn’t much in the mood to lift…well…until I got an email from my manager. It pretty much sent me into orbit. I got to use that during my workout. So, I guess I should thank him, right before I +Matty Auslander him.

I felt strong today, but wanted to stick with the higher reps. That seems to be really working, of late. Time will tell.
Next two days will be fishing with the crew. It should be fun…and challenging. I hope that I actually get to fish…lol.
OH! And my "redneck dumbbell’ came apart after the last set of Krocs. So, I have remade it with two 65# DBs…the highest I have. This time I used heavy duty duct tape and twice as much of it.

Wow. I’m impressed. You’ll be repping in the 300’s within a year. You’ve got to change the Little in your name one of these days. More like ReallybigandbadassmilitarypressStrict.

You know, I asked them if I could drop the “little”, in my username. They ignored me.
Repping 300 will rock! I just wanna hit 315#, right now. And to get 405# on bench right after that. Of course, if they happen in the same week, the world might end.

You know I’m pulling for you. I’ll be pumped the days you press 315 and bench 405.

I am going to try incline skullcrushers next workout. Need a bit of variation. My wonky left wrist causes my left elbow a lot of discomfort. So, I am limited as to which movements I can really push the weight on, with regard to isolation tricep work.

So damned close on the 405# bench. 390# went up so strong that I HAD to try. I just didn’t have enough left and came down an inch or so high. I was able to get it up to my sticking point…just couldn’t push through.
The good news is that the weight felt completely manageable. That is a first for 405#. Soon…very soon.
You’re a freaking beast. I have a feeling 405 is going up next week.
Great benching, LS!
Not quite a beast, Steve. But I did feel more beastly. Just putting 4 plates on each side and giving it a legitimate try felt great.
Thanks, Jack. It is getting better. Just wish that I was as lean as you!
I PMed you my OLDER lifting brother.
