At What Point Do You Think You Are "Qualified" to Give Out Advice?

When you try to help people by telling them how they should do things under the guise of keeping them safe, you think you might be Superman.

But really, you’re Comic Book Store Guy.

:+1::+1: ok

It usually stems more from a desire to show your own superiority rather than an altruistic motivation to help.

I never said i think that makes me superman seriously guys go have a go at someone else your adults its pathetic

Yep you are sooo right i just want to be superior to everybody and never help anyone yep keep spitting your useless trash because you sir are wrong

I’m not having a go at you. I’m telling you how it comes off and the typical motivation. The middle schoolers I coach are always experts too.

Alright i will just focus on my training and ignore what goes on around

Surely you recognize this is ridiculous.

It is not your role to tell others how to live their lives. Not everyone is concerned with safety or reaching maximal longevity.

That will get you much further, in the gym, and in life.

Id rather not let a family member or friend die from lung cancer from smoking …

The leg extension can be used in lots of ways that aren’t great for the knees but are great for leg size.

It is a boy-cried-wolf situation. The more unsolicited advice you give, the more pompous it seems, and the less likely it is your advice will be listened to.

The links between smoking and cancer are pretty well-known at this point. If someone knows that and still smokes, it isn’t because they need to be reminded of the risk.

Minimal progress. From reading his log, I would expect better progress in that time.

Yes, you are a total noob. Complete novice. You think you know more than you do. You’re the last person who should be giving advice to anyone about training.

@ippy you joined less than an hour ago. How have you read all of his logs and posts to make a accurate assessment of his progress in that time.

Has it crossed your mind I might have been reading this forum before I joined?

Aero reincarnate

So you joined the forum just to tell Duke he has been making unsatisfactory progress, without any actual proof of your own progress or knowledge.

@dchris That’s what I was thinking, or perhaps Zach’s returned.
