I’m not so sure about that. Have you ever been to a New England Patriots game?

I didn’t often get tips when I was working bar security, but the best tip I ever received was from a group of four total chads who showed up to blow off some steam and had a great night. They were all well north of 200 and lean, quite possibly strippers but that’s just a guess.

When they left I was tipped generously and thanked for apparently being the first bouncer they’ve encountered recently who didn’t try to out-bro them or give them any kind of shit for the entire course of their night.

Bodybuilders are all right in my book, even with their weird hobby. None of those guys felt the need to squeeze my arm to check out what I’m packing, squeeze my crotch to do the same, paw around my traps or demand that I oil them up and rub them down, unlike certain other customers I encountered.

Agreed. Most I’ve encountered in the gym have been polite and respectful, probably because they’ve spent enough time in gyms to learn about gym etiquette and to appreciate how much easier it makes life for everyone. The worst are the newbies who take 45 minutes in the squat rack doing endless sets of curls when two or three people are waiting to squat.
