I’d like to thank T-Mag for getting me to my current state of conditioning. When I first found your site, I was around 275lbs. All fat(about 104% by calipers). I am now down to 200-205. I should be in better shape though, so I’ve sat back, adjusted, and have a new goal and training program.
My goal in the next two months is to score a 235 on the PFT (Physical Fitness Test for Marines, first class is 225, unless your old like me, and then it’s 200, which I have). My diet is low-carb/T-dawgish as per Alessi. calories at bw x 12. Using Hot Rox as per label dosing.
Training is per Training codex. One month of intensification, one month of accumulation, etc. I can provide more specifics if necessary, but I am focusing on Hamstrings first in the week to bring up my 3 mile run time (24 minutes right now, not good). I am also going to start using CT’s keep your chin up program 2x per week, starting at the normal man level (I can do 8-10 chins, but not consistently). And, that’s all for now. I plan on getting down to 195 in this 8 week time, so I use an hour of incline walking as per Dr. Lowry’s suggestions, as it makes sense to me to spare muscle at lower intensities, plus I have a bone spur on my heel and 30 days light duty, so no running for me.
I’ve stayed relatively quiet as I prefer to train than quible about what to do (damn it took me too long to get out of that rut), but I would appreciate feedback, comments, suggestions, pats on the back, a “you basterdized my training philosophy, you penisless hump lump”
