There will only ever be one Arnold. Truly a great man. He has charisma, vision, drive and mental strength. His many acheivements demand our respect.
His acheivements outside of bodybuilding is a testament to his greatness. Already a self made millionaire back in the 70’s he is a sucess in every sense of the word. Even with fame and success in the movie industry, politcal acheivements and more wealth than most of us can even imagine he still knows his most valued achievements are his wife, children and public service. What a winner!!
To me he is still the single most significant individual to every appear in the world of bodybuilding and fitness. His appearance in “Pumping Iron” exposed the benefits of resistance training, diet and exercise to the world and has inspired countless generations since (myself included).
I don’t see an out of condition old man recovering from heart surgery in that photo. I see a living legend that has has shit together!

Lame post. So what…he let himself go. After all his hard work and dedication for years and years I’d say he deserves to eat whatever the hell he wants and live the way he wants.
After you’ve reached a certain point in your life…you just dont give a sh*t about this stuff. Other things make you happy like…retirement money, grand kids, etc etc. In Arnolds case its…well…running the state of CA, and living off movie royalties.
So basically…who cares. Most people look like his after picture in their 20s…now THAT’S sad.
