Bit far to go from down here. So annoyed that hey don’t have the Arnold Australia in Melbourne anymore. Sad
Kinda sad to see a lack of activity on stuff like this nowadays.
If anyone is interested, there is a live stream, but it is expensive. I’m competing Sunday. Just a one day event for the old guys.

I’m pretty sure the Arnold Strongman Classic is streamed for free by Rogue (I know it was last year). High quality broadcast too.
Rumor is Thor might go for a deadlift WR. He looks absolutely huuuge.

I’m not sure about the pro show, what I posted was all the amateur stuff.
I got an actual training cycle in on this one so I plan to do more damage than I did at America’s strongest. I also had to go to 90 kilos so there is no weight cut. Americas strongest coming back from injury I got four weeks of strongman training.

Yer I have been following along on IG (as you know) and saw the comments the other day about no weight cut. Be interesting to see how you feel going into this compared to other shows whee you had to make weight.
As much as the water loading and all sucks, I’ve realized it also kept me busy. Sitting with nothing to do training wise hasn’t been all positive. Hopefully there is a good bump in performance. I was also thinking I might get on the scale with a milkshake in hand just to mess with my competition.
Really I have no expectations. I only know 1 of the guys I’m competing with and I’m not in his league. For the past year+ I was thinking I might not ever make it back. So the plan is just to slow down and enjoy it.

Back in the OPEN for 2026! Managed to snag an early qualification, so I’m like 37 weeks out and get to have a legit off season. No other 80k guys signed up, so I just had to go not zero stuff. Did exactly 1 training session for this comp…

Well done on getting a place, it will be good to see how you go with a long prep.
I’ll be there! Nowhere near the level of competing in anything, but I love the entertainment.
