I was watching online, and I kept sayin’ there’s no way Branch should be better than 3rd, but I bet he’ll win…dammit. Sure enough. I had Wolf, Evan, Branch. Evan and Wolf were close IMO and either could have taken 1st.
I had wolf and evan for 1st/2nd in whatever order and branch third as well, oh well.
Once Evan brings up his lower lats and brings up his legs some more he will be unstoppable IMO.
VERY disappointed to see Curry show up in shitty conditioning again. I had hoped he’d broken that habit after the Olympia but he continues to suck at showing up lean and dry. Such a waste…
There is something about Evans front double bicep pose that just really looks off for me and i can’t put my finger on it. Do you think it’s because he needs more lower lats? Or is that just the way his structure is and there is nothing that can be done.
I’ve always liked Evan, but I agree that his legs lack (if we can use that word at this level) when compared to his torso.
Curry definitely has the best shape, but sadly when standing next to some of the real freaks up there, either in terms of size, or just conditioning, he’s gonna fall down to the second tier in the judges’ eyes.
As far as the ‘younger’ guns up there, Beyeke IMO has the most potential to do some real damage in the immediate future. I caught part of the prejudging replay online, and he’s got so much mass, and shape, that once he really brings a better game day package in terms of conditioning (and adds even more size to ‘weaker’ areas), he’s just gonna stomp all over most of the other competitors.

Wolfs lats smoke pretty much anyones in the IFBB right now, Evan was always going to come a cropper there… But I agree if he makes the improvements which we all know he will he’s going to be a force.

Saw the replay and I agree Branch didnt have it this year. Crowd reaction when wolf was announced second showed their dissapointment. For some reason Branch’s small forarms seemed to stand out more and he just looked smaller than everyone on stage. Pakman has an extremely distended gut that looked way off. Def think it should have been between evan and wolf, both were sick from the back. Wolf has evan in that fron db pose though.

I don’t like it either. It just makes his waist look way wider than it actually is and the way he tucks his fists down looks funky too. I have no idea how to fix it though! lol
Branch has had consistantly fantastic conditioning. He has so much mass especially in his legs, I’m not a huge fan of his but I think he deserved to win this show.
His proportions (bone structure) are just weird, his arms are so short. I also hate his posing and I think it makes it worse, that realy wide stance and the arms nearly horizontal in the ‘relaxed pose’ looks rediculous.
I was hoping Dex would bring something back and do well in this show.
