He’s posing them really well to hide the size difference between right and left.

How does this guy win anything??
Edit: Branch
sigh
Wolf got robbed.
No way Branch should have won this.
Bodybuilding sure is messed up these days.
Brandon Curry: the perfect epitome of what bodybuilding should be.
No way Branch should place ahead of Evan and Wolf, Maybe even ahead of Ben. + He won most muscular and best poser award, which is just a freaking absurd. At least I predicted top 3 right.

Out of all of those Beyeke looks the best.
Wolf’s calves look atrocious.

Exactly. I don’t understand judging anymore. Wolf was greatly improved…but how the hell are contests being won by guys who are the farthest from any aesthetics goal that most of us have?
I will say, it looks like bodybuilding is still alive and kicking seeing as the personalities of the people involved is now taking center stage again.

Not only that, but aside from his legs, he’s farthest away from showing that ‘bodybuilding shows are won from the back’.
Back separation = non existent

I always naively thought the most muscular award was based on the pose itself and if that is actually the case that pic shows Dexter should be winning that EASILY.
But now I’ve read elsewhere that its based on the guy with the most muscle on them relative to their height and frame. If that’s the case, why on earth does he ever win that award ahead of Kai Greene ???
cut the crap everyone. branch looks great. dry full and huge. congrats to him.
LOL @ “difference of opinion” = “crap”

Strongly disagree about Dex having the best MM pose. Evan, Wolf and Ben Pak all have way to much size and width of him. I serious think it’s time Dex just hangs it up unless he really needs the money. He placings just get lower and lower every year. He has no chance of winning a major show and it won’t be long before he can’t even break into the top 6. Hell he isn’t even winning all of the smaller shows he’s competing in. He just seems to never make any improvements and more and more people are passing him by, game over for Dex imo.
In other news none of these guys stand a chance against Phil Heath at the Olympia barring injury or illness. Phil Heath has the most dominant Olympian physique since early Ronnie imo.

I guess the MM pose statement is a personal opinion. Whenever he hits that pose in comparisons you can’t help but look at him more than you would during any other pose.
But I do agree with the rest of that post, he’s just slowly going down the pecking order. Seeing a Sandow winner go down like this is not a nice thing.
FYI outside the Olympia and Arnold hes won every other show hes competed in, apart from the 2nd place finish to Evan at the Flex Pro last year.

I know what you mean because he leans over quite a bit more then the others it gives his traps that big popping look. It does tend to catch my eye as well.
Also got second at 2010 Australian pro to Kai. It doesn’t seem like a big deal until you look back to 2008 where he completely cleaned house and won 5 pro shows in a year including the Arnold and the Olympia it just sucks to see someone of his caliber just continue to go downhill, he is on his way to being the Ric Flair of Bodybuilding.
What’s the problem with Dennis’ left calf ???

And 2nd in Arnold Classic Europe 2011 too. My bad, won’t be using flexonline for contest history again lol
I was watching online, and I kept sayin’ there’s no way Branch should be better than 3rd, but I bet he’ll win…dammit. Sure enough. I had Wolf, Evan, Branch. Evan and Wolf were close IMO and either could have taken 1st.

I had wolf and evan for 1st/2nd in whatever order and branch third as well, oh well.
Once Evan brings up his lower lats and brings up his legs some more he will be unstoppable IMO.
VERY disappointed to see Curry show up in shitty conditioning again. I had hoped he’d broken that habit after the Olympia but he continues to suck at showing up lean and dry. Such a waste…
