Arnold Classic 2012

Well since nobody else started a thread about it I thought I would. I’m really looking forward to this years Arnold Classic, I rooting for Evan Centopani. I think he’s got top 3 locked down and could even win it. I watched a few new vids of him and he is looking sick at around 5 weeks out. Here are some pics from 5 weeks out:

Just got a new HDMI cable and a new graphics card installed on my home PC so I can enjoy the Arnold in my bigass screen in the living room along with my buds from the gym!!

I will be watching on my phone… and contributing brilliant commentary on outfits and dance moves.

^Haha nice

Holy hell. Famous…

Evan’s definitely been stepping up his game. Still, we have yet to see him against any of the really big guys who are still in their prime (ie. Branch, because let’s face it, Dexter wasn’t at his best when Evan beat him).

I’m definitely a fan of Evan’s, but there are some newer faces popping up the last couple of years, so we’ll see what sort of throw down we get this year!

I think Will Harris is going to be in this show.

From the looks of it, Evan has really improved a lot and will definitely bring it at the Arnold.

I think we’re gonna see Wolf bring in a pretty sick physique that might surprise us (even though it wouldn’t be that surprising).

Obvi if Branch brings his best, he will probably take it, but we’ll have to see how he recovers from that quad injury. My pick for dark horse is Brandon Curry. He’s got everything you need to be number 1, he just hasn’t been able to dial it in.

Nope doesn’t seem like harris will be there.

I agree. I really hope he ends up doing the Olympia. I think a top 10 there would be great for his first Olympia.

I agree he looked pretty sick at the Olympia last year, I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of package he brings to the Arnold. I still can’t believe he has a couple threads on here from like 2003. Unreal…

Fouad Abiad
Gustavo Badell
Lionel Beyeke
Matthias Botthof
Evan Centopani
Eduardo Correa
Brandon Curry
Dexter Jackson

Gustavo Badell???

whatttttttt!!! he hasn’t been around for a long time, I’d heard he was making a comeback but we all know how that usually goes…

I’m excited to see how he looks.

I’ve always been interested in this.

Anyone have his screen name or links to his threads from when he posted here?

Damn I didn’t know Gustavo Badell was competing, it should be interesting to see what he brings to the stage.

When Gustavo first burst on the scene as a ‘top tier’ competitor, I was a big fan of his physique. In his most recent outings, he had definitely dropped off quite a bit. I’d certainly love to see him return to his old level of size and conditioning. Still, there’s always the argument about if he could even hang (being at ‘his best’) with today’s Pros.

dexter might be done…but according to mr. glass and others around him he has been fuller, bigger, and most importantly “blade-like” in recent weeks.

we’ll see, either he pops out and could potentially win, or others (judges & popular opinion) might collectively decide he is done being a top dog. he looked big at the masters which he won, we’ll see standing next to the big dogs.

wolf will be outstanding or off, branch…mmmeerrr aahhh not really a fan of him, fan of his conditioning and work ethic but not his physique.

evan looks great, if he can fill out his chest, e.g. a chest like bertil fox, he’ll win an O eventually.

looking forward to seeing rhodes and MY GUY TO surprise folks …Lionel Beyeke
