Why all this Arnold hate people ? People here are speaking like they know the guy personally.

Alot of haterism is coming from how he ran this state. He was a RINO governor (at best), talked about how he would stand up to unions, when he ultimately pulled his pants down and let them service him. He implemented the largest tax increase in the history of the United States, increased the size of state government by 40%, lowered the state tax bracket to a point where making $47k/yr makes you “rich” and allows you to be taxed at the highest tax rate. You have to love Mr. Global Warming, yet drives a Hummer, and has a private jet.

Beyond his politics, he is a fucking douche. A known womanizer, bullshit artist, and ran a campaign on his movie hero persona, when in reality he is just another guy loyal to the highest bidder.

The last straw was him reducing the sentence of that kid whose dad he is buddies with. When he was questioned about it, well you watch the video…

I never thought Maria and Arnold were a match made in heaven. Not because she’s a democrat and he’s a republican, and she’s from a wealthy American royal family and he’s from immigrant farmer stock. It’s because they can never have sex without her body cracking like a twig. How much fun can that be?
lol

Spot on.

Is there a politician who doesnt have an agenda? If anyone else in office did that it would be the same - just because he is Arnold doesn’t make it more or less worse.

Yep.

There are no “real” politicians. He’s an actor and has been most of his life.

I don’t even hate him for it. He didn’t break any laws even reducing that guy’s sentence. Insensitive? Yes.
Politically Incorrect? Yes.
Maybe even downright dirty? Yes.

But illegal? Nope. He got power. He used power.

If people didn’t want that, they shouldn’t have voted for him.

Btw, I love when people say this.

Not that you’re incorrect, as its all semantics, but its better stated, “If people didn’t want that, they should have mobilized a constituency to to not vote for him” because clearly the majority of voting public is ignorant and will consistently vote against their better interests - which is why we always end up complete and utter baffoons in office.

I hope to god that Trump doesn’t run, altho he might actually be TOO rich to actually win.

We are forced to elect retards because reasonable people aren’t ruthless enough to be politicians.

Well and the smart, ruthless bastards are running companies. I’d know, one of them is my step-dad. lol

Not exactly true.

Schwarzenegger violated Marsy’s Law which may or may not be illegal. They are having a news conference today in regards to the Nunez case.

Here is a link to Marsy’s Law that clearly states he overstepped his authority and violated the rights of the victim’s family.

Now every District Attorney in California is undergoing training in Marsy’s Law, and how to ensure victims are informed of their Marsy Rights. Now, victims of violent crime in California must by law be treated with respect and dignity by the criminal justice system. Courts must consider the safety of victims and families when setting bail and release conditions. And family members have legal standing in bail hearings, pleas, sentencing and parole hearings
Arnold hate and apparently union hate as well…

Arnold is a pawty poopah

The dude can play though.

Union hate is perfectly justified though.

I understand your sentiment, and for the most part, in today’s world, it is often true.

BUT

Unions did a lot of good for this country and the general premise of them is a very good thing for the people as a whole, in general.

Just like religion though, the people involved fucked up a good thing.

Hey Beans? Are you in Calif? If so what do you think of the San Diego Pension debacle?

sorry to hijack.

on topic, I agree with Maximus that this Nunez thing was probably what pushed Maria Shriver over the edge. She is just more politically savvy than him and he admitted to abusing his position to help a political crony.

I’m not denying that they served a historical role. Today however they are strangling economies and retarding living standards. Whenever gov. gets involved with unions, bad things happen.

Sounds like some lovely ad copy. Respect and dignity? As opposed to what?

I just came for the Maximo Politico sermon. See how Max likes to backhand the layman libs with his sermons?

(side note: next time I’m down there, we’re going to Rafi’s Place)
