No idea what this has to do with bodybuilding though. That’s for sure
And that’s the problem B.
You sound more bitter than anyone
Funny, I thought that this was the bodybuilding forum, not the powerlifting forum. I didn’t see you jump on Stu’s nutsack when he stated the exact same thing. The problem isn’t his lifts, I never once doubted them or made any posts concerning them. The problem was his "tone’ in his first series of posts.

With all that said, tell me what I should feel bitter about. I would think you, as well as X out of most people on this site should be able to recognize that I don’t have any reason to be bitter as it relates to this thread.

I agree with skynet over the OP’s time frame, he could be training for longer and just saying 2 months and now he has said it doesnt want to say he is actually trained longer as people will start calling him a liar etc but he proved with videos he is a strong lad, what do i know i am a noob to this site.
He’s 20. Even if he started training at 16 he’s still much further along than most people who will ever walk into the gym with the goal of getting stronger.

To me his numbers are slightly less impressive because of how new he is. SLIGHTLY. I will be very impressed if he has an elite power lifting total in 2-3 years. IMO crazy progress is more impressive than god given gifts

I have seen a lot of naturally strong people over the years to be too shocked by this. Solid pull, technique is rough but that will come with time and practice. Keep banging away and make sure you eat enough. 250 should be no problem to reach.

You guys need to realize, some people ARE genetically gifted. On that same note, saying people don’t try hard enough is a lil rough. Size AND strength are relative to ones structure. My friend is the same age as me, yet out deadlifts me by 250 lbs (650), out Benches me by 200~ lbs (507 bench) and out squats me by 160 lbs(~560 squat). His bench went up 40 lbs from last year, and his deadlift up 50 lbs. I could cry boo hoo and hate on a guy because he’s genetically gifted(unassisted as well) but i’m not. He’s 6’1’', 260lbs

I started somewhere in between. When I started trainingat 19-20 yrs old, I had 15 inch arms, ~10% bodyfat, 23 inch Quads.

Currently i have a 300 lb 1rm on bench, 500~ deadlift, and 405 squat @ 11% bodyfat(7 point pinch), 6’3’', 220ish lbs.(not very big)

My first 1 rm Squat was 315 lbs. First 1rm deadlift was 350(didn’t even deadlift the first year), and 210 lb 1rm bench. Some people would say that’s good genetics, but is it really? Especially when my friend is training the same as i am and owning me by hundreds of pounds on every lift?

I didn’t totally mean to disrespect lots of people. I guess the main thing I was trying to say is that many people don’t seem to be aiming highly enough. Not that I have achieved ENOUGH to really be preaching in such a manner. But it’s just a thought.

Indeed, you can only really make dramatic progress with anything if you take a “sledge-hammer” approach. It’s only logical. Imagine if you were to say want to learn a language… who’s going to learn it faster, the guy who spends 5 hours a day learning reading it, studying it, whilst perhaps not worrying about the minor details… such as spellings, genders e.t.c

Or the guy who carefully plans out his “2 hour per week” learning session… worrying about all the finer details. Obsessing over pronounciation for example, when he could just be learning more words…

Perhaps a poor example… but ultimately even though I have done NOTHING yet… I know that in the long run

MORE FOOR + MORE WEIGHT will = More progress
than getting too caught up on form, too caught up in the micro details, and being worried about getting a bit fat. e.t.c. And I honestly think that many people ARE too caught up in that, or maybe they think that getting BIG is EASY?

Well it’s clearly not easy, In two months I haven’t yet encountered ONE STAND-OUT huge person in the gym I go to… and that’s in the GYM-GOING population, let alone the regular one. Indeed the fact that I (and also MANY OTHERS) are strong or much stronger than I am – think some powerlifters, is further testament to this fact. It’s going to be damn hard work. But over the next three years i’ve got everything at my disposal to give this 100%
Youre in the UK right?

Not a treasure trove of physical beasts, to say the least.

And most people dont want to be huge and/or freaky strong.

Just do your own thing. How high others aim is not something you can determine simply by looking at their physiques or lifting numbers. Not everyone in the gym wants to be the biggest or strongest. “Aiming high” is subjective.

At the risk of pissing pepople off I can honestly say that I dont really aim that high. Im stronger than a lot of people in my gym and definitely stronger than anyone close to my size. Im also in better shape than most. But I dont really have to try that hard. I wouldnt say its easy at all, but Im not busting my ass 100% of the time 365 days a yaer. I have more important things to do. But most people think Im some nutrition nazi that only lives to go to the gym. BUt Im happy where I am so I dont feel the need to devote 100% of my focus to bodybuilding. Im also not trying to compete at any level. So whatever

You dont know what people are doing just by lookng at them. But its safe to say that if someone is truly impressive theyre doing SOMETHING right.

where in UK are you am14?

It did sound like you were preaching from a position of very limited experience. Everyone is going to be starting from different places. You lucked out in that you’re starting from a more advanced level from a strength perspective. I also agree with you. Every day I’m lifting I look around and wonder why no one else seems to be working as hard as I am. Not everyone wants to be huge, strong or the next arnold. Not everyone has the same goals we do. Most people just want to feel good about themselves and be “healthy”.

No Doubt you’re very strong as a beginner, and great job on your lifts. Out of curiousity, why did you post this in the bodybuilding forum?

I hope everyone talking shit earlier on apologizes. That shit gets old. Most of you fuckers AREN’T trying that damned hard and you know it. Also, most of the women here are more serious than the guys. Why is it every time someone calls people out on this, everyone gets defensive like they all bench over 400lbs for reps?

I doubt the average person on this site even looks like they lift at all yet people tore this guy a new one all because he noticed the exact same thing everyone else does who comes here.

Guess what, the secret is out…most of you half ass this…and many of you just got schooled by a newb.
And you know this how? Why do you so often pretend you know exactly how everyone on this site looks?
If you are well developed, why are you hiding it?

Where are YOUR pics?
Glad you asked because tbh X, all your pictures are shitty, get some balls and post some fuckin pictures instead of you in the dark hiding away.
