They knew of the dangers beforehand, but sold it anyway. The bean-counters knew they would still make a killing(no pun intended) after the lawsuits so they decided to sell it anyway. Would an ethical company do this? Welcome to end-stage capitalism! Nothing is more important than profit. If they weren’t an evil empire they wouldn’t have sold it in the 1st place.

They willingly and voluntarily pulled the pill though. Nobody forced their hands. Can you show where they knew it was going to be damaging, released the pill temporarily to make some quick money and then for no reason at all changed their minds?
