Bleh left elbow was a bit irritated, hence my pseudo miss with 255. Glad to hit 3x255 though. Tried a regular grip and it seemed to help the elbow. May just do reverse band pressing or floor pressing instead.
EDIT: the elbow pain may be caused by not keeping my elbows in line with my wrists. I’ll have to pay extra attention to this next session and see how it goes. I’ll also give a closer grip with the CGBPing.

Great CGBP, you really are a natural presser! How close to knurling is your grip? Seems from the video your normal bench must be super-wide but maybe its just the angle? Maybe I need to bench a little wider… lol

@jake_j_m: I’ve been hearing that I’m a natural presser haha. My grip is thumbs on smooth, I’m considering making it a bit closer though. I suppose it’s the camera angle.

These were a bit harder than usual, but not by much.

Hit my goal of 3x205. God I hate lowering the weight with push presses. Cut it short since my left elbow was a bit iffy. I would rather not push it and live to lift another day. Really squeezing the bar and tucking the elbows seems to help. Just gotta remember those cues.
Damn, nice work on the push press’s, I doubt if I could even get 3 with 175! Time to growwww

My hands were happy I used straps, but the rest of my body was rather hateful. Managed to work up to a triple that was 20lbs more than last session, so happy about that. Goal was to hit 3x335 and hit 3x345 so overall a pretty good session.
Your deadlift is coming along! Nice! It may just be the angle but it looks asif you are almost stiff-legging the weight up a little? I’m not expert but have you experimented with bring the hips down more? I sometimes like to “sit down” as far as possible whilst holding the bar then come up with the hips just a little until I’ve removed the tension from the bar and then a pull. Good lifting brotherr

Holy shitake mushrooms the set w/ 265 was ugly and awful. I feel the strength is definitely there, it was just really really slow. I will probably switch to floor pressing or reverse band pressing. On the brightside, I had no elbow pain today.
