Overall pretty happy with this went. Been rather tired/busy since with family functions and what not. Decided to get a short lift in late at night, just b/c I needed to show myself that I can still have a quality session despite odd hours and/or a busy schedule. I’ll have to force myself to get in whatever work I can.

Overall felt pretty good, especially since I haven’t been feeling very supple lately. Oddly, my abs seemed to really ‘feel’ it.

Short and sweet.

Messed around with some benching and sumo pulls yesterday. Nothing worth getting into detail about. I tried a wider stance for the sumo pulls, which made my hips feel it. The sumo pulls are still abysmally awkward. Benching felt horrible. I’m thinking that I need to at least groove the technique to keep rust off the groove and prevent from a general sucky feeling bench.

Nice front squatting. I miss it.

Despite the bone-headed decision to load 315, I got in some decent work. I really shouldn’t have expected much from my bench seeing as I haven’t really been focusing on it as much.

Oddly my clavicle was hurting so the front rack position was a bit uncomfortable.

Bleh, these felt awful. Somewhat due to the uncomfortable front rack position, but most likely due to me being weak.

EDIT: I moved in my grip and foot placement a little and I like it.

I was expecting worse since I haven’t pulled in a long time. I’m tempted to just do accessory work to get my back stronger, but I know that I just need to pull more to get better. Especially since I hate pulling.
