So I did a bunch of mobility work. My hamstrings were unusually tight, while everything else was relatively supple. Therefore I did a good amount of hamstring flossing, which hurt so good. In retrospect the tight hamstrings may have had a little bit to do with sub par pulling. That and having tired pulling muscles.

And I give pulling sumo a serious try.

haha thanks guys. But my lifts are far from special.

Was planning and looking forward to lifting today but I ate something bad and have been recovering. I should be perfectly fine tomorrow.

Now that I know how many hours I’ll have to dedicating to this summer lab position, I’ll be trying something a little different with my training. But it should be fun.

Oly squat
22x1x315 in 20 minutes

Overall not bad, but not great.

Bench press

Wrists and elbows felt achy so didn’t push these. No need to rush things.

Monday 5/28/12

It’s Africa hot.

Bench press
17x1x275 —> cut it with ~3:30 left, 275 was a bit too much weight

Felt somewhat rushed while setting up due to trying to getting as many singles in as possible.
