AquaCruzer's Training Log

How have your gains been while on IF so far?
I never really got a good run at it to see for myself in any decisive way. My schedule has been pretty fucked this summer (constantly changing night/early morning shifts in work) so I’m hoping once I settle back into college I can fully commit to it again.

By the way 25x405 is monster! (too monster for grammar!)
Tbh I’m just complaining lol. And thanks

I like how what looks to be a Nalgene bottle shifted over between sets and a god amount of liquid from it went missing.

Lol good squats, pretty boy :)
Your eyes serve you well. Why thank you mista perfect.

Sets of 10 for squats? Dude, you BB training now or what? LOL

They look solid though, can’t lie
I had no such intentions of training BB style.

I appreciate man.

So far I can’t complain about how I’m doing while IFing. Definitely give it more of a run once your schedule settles.

(3x215, 210, 205)x3

Ab wheel
5x5

5/3/1, 5 week , Day 5
Thursday 8/11/11

5x115
5x130
5x145
5x130
5x115

Push press
(3x165, 160, 155)x5

These felt a bit heavy at the start, but found my groove midway.

5 sets w/ 10s

omg death.

Can’t wait to trash my bis later this pm.

PM session

Garsh, you know just what to say <3

5/3/1, 3 week , Day 1
Saturday 8/13/11

Deadlift
somexsomex135
3x225
3x255
3x290
8x325
1x325 (snatch grip)

lower back seemed to die

T-bar row
10x2p, 3p, 4p
15x5p+10 PR

Felt relatively easy. Got into the PR set midway.

Squat (high bar, paused)
(3x235, 2230, 225)x4

These were fun.

Ab wheel
5x5

Those pulls looked ridic easy broham, looking real strong.

Do you have a t-bar attachment, or was that just some dude you asked to stand on the end of the bar? I find tbars to awkward to set up right and even with dumbells on one end once I go over 3 plates I can’t stop it tipping forward…

Thanks man. Nah, no attachment. I just got my brother to stand on the end of the bar. Yeah it is annoying to set it up, thankfully I can just get my brother to stand on the other end and not have to fuss about putting a DB on the other end and what not.

5/3/1, 3 week , Day 2
Sunday 8/14/11

Pull ups (alternating grips)
5, 5, 5, 5, 5, 5
10, 10, 10, 10 (band assisted)

Bench press (paused)
somexsomex135
3x175
3x205
3x230

(3x215, 210, 205)x5

Focused on leg drive. If I let the bar drift too close to my face as I lower it, it makes it harder to press. Grinded a little bit during the last 3 sets.

CGBP
5x10x135

Tate press (ss w/ CGBP)
5x10x20s

omg death. These felt harder than last time.

This log is good, consider me jelly of your front squatting & shoulder strength. Time to catch up

Tate press super-setted with CGBP?! Thats madness good sir, your tris are going to hate you tomorrow!

After the 1st set I thought it would be fine, but I was so wrong once I began the next set lol.

Some progress pics. I’m weighing 220 lbs. Over the past 2 months or so of IFing, I’ve gained 3 or so pounds. Fortunately, I think my back has come up a bit. Unfortunately I think my belly has come up a bit too. I over did the carbs a bit over the past two months, but have begun to keep things more in check.

EDIT: I also have noticed some chest growth  as well as added stretch marks in the pec-delt tie in area.

Looking great dude, Very solid through the back. Lats, triceps and traps all look really good from that rear shot. Also some strong pressing in your last session. I have been lurking in your log for awhile and I am impressed with your progress. Ive just started a log myself and thought its about time I comment in yours:) keep trucking!

I really appreciate it man  Don’t be a stranger.

No shit, broseph. Tuck the elbows more and control the bar on the way down. You natural tendency to bring something long and phallic towards your face is NOT how you perform the bench press, LOL

Back’s looking thicker, fo sho

<3
