I must get more brave with my camera in the gym. I’ve actually taken it with me the last few times I deadlifted. But, alas, it never left the case. I’m a little shy about setting it up or asking my coach or someone else to do the filming. But I do love watching everyone else’s vids. And it gives so much to work with in terms of critiquing form, etc. I must get braver . . . Plus, I’m in that nasty DL suit.

ok, so I do…I dabbled with it a couple times in my teen years…but I was smart enough to know not to mess with it anymore than that…I knew girls who couldnt roll out of bed without it…they mainly used to control appetite and get homework done and still have energy to do more partying…ugh, I was more a pothead myself…

I know what you mean about no hunger not necessarily being a good thing. My hunger can turn off pretty easily, and instead of hungry I get sleepy – not good for productivity! But if the buzz keeps you awake, maybe that’s not so big a problem.

I, too, thought you meant “in a row” when you listed your total reps and was going to comment that I wasn’t sure it was building strength if you could do that many in a row! I’m not sure I agree that the rep/set scheme doesn’t matter. In fact, I don’t agree. I can tell you that depending on the weight, 3 x 12 is very, very different for me than 7 x 5.
