I don’t know if it’ll make a difference to the movement, but in order to take pressure off the wrists and do something akin to your barbell pushups without all of the set up, you can just use two dumbells for the handles.

posted my pics on the other site…scary…put on 5 lbs since I last weighed in sometime in Jan…still, 185 considering my carb fest the last two weeks isn’t too terribly bad…I think my progress will be more visual than on the scale…
kicking ass in the gym+eating 100% perfect= RESULTS! early morning walks are also in my future…accept tomorrow morning, cause the hubby has to be to work by 4am…I guess I could get ultra tough and get up at 230am…let me think about that for a second…NAH!!!

Worked up to a 1rm for the DL…I KNOW I have more in me! It looks easier than it feels tho, haha…I had to do this twice, cause the first attempt, I was too close to the camera, ![]()

I don’t normally train DL’s…it used to be like once every couple months even! But now is my FAVE! And I’ll be doing a lot of them
today I had to do 35 reps @ 60%!
35 reps! Oh my. Like you, I pull conventional. And the floor seems to be my sticking point as well. I also struggle with slouching my shoulders and rounding my back when the weight gets heavy. I just have to arch, arch and push into the floor to keep from doing so. I find that hard core training of the squat really drives up my DL numbers.
i had to back off the pounds for squat and DL. doing 5 x 15-20 of them…
i love them too. they make me RAWR!

Deficit DLs will work the kinks out.
MIM- 205 looked easy for you…Methinks 250 is more like your 1RM
