Kids are off to school, and I am off to the gym! Although I feel like crawling back into bed more…getting a cold and feel kinda cruddy…but if I dont go this morning, I may not be able to go til Thursday…school is probably going to be closed tomorrow, since we are supposed to be getting more snow tonight…

Admittedly, I had no real plans for the deadlift.just worked my way up with some rackpulls…

Then I decided to go for it and got

Then, because I was feeling ok and wanted to dead lift, I just set the bar on the bottom of the rack and did some sumo pulls…working my way up to 205…probably kind of awkward and a tad easier than pulling from the floor, but it felt pretty good!!
Then I did a circuit of

and rows
I don’t really know how much further Im supposed to go…maybe start lowering the bar and work on the sticking point… obvious its not up top! What say you Jim??

I’m sticking to the comp in July to do…unless one gets posted for the fall that is within the same distance…I need to call the former chair guy, and see if I can borrow some kegs If not, I’ll get my own… I figure I’ll work on getting stronger and possibly start training the events in May!
I caved…but pretty good considering Ive had to force the protein and veggies the last two days…isn’t chicken and broccoli the last thing you wanna eat when you have a cold? blech…
