I’m thankful for my losses and am grateful to be maintaining…I guess it would be a different story if I was sitting here typing about how I’ve ballooned up 10lbs…but I haven’t! happy dance

I know what I need to do to cut more weight…but by training the way I am, and keeping the eats clean, I have a feeling the rest of the body comp changes will happen on there own without having to go the hardcore dieting route again! At least I hope so!

not a good nights sleep here…I was up with Julia between the hours of 330-530am…she kept throwing up :frowning: She never throws up!!

I didn’t get to bed til after midnight, then Julia, and my back!! I was dancing around like an idiot while doing dishes yesterday and I pulled something! rolls eyes I had planned on lifting today…we’ll see how I feel after I’ve got a pot of coffee in me, LOL! I gotta orientation anyway…

Oh, the girl I had one with had the balls to text me that night saying she ‘couldn’t afford it.’ You can’t afford $30 a week?! Stop buying your junk food and just give the money to me!! DAMNIT!!! That pisses me off something fierce… Im going to start telling people to think of it as an ‘Investment in there future.’

Now I have a nice confidence boost…going on these orientations is liking showing up for a blind date…everything appears to be going well, but when you ask to meet again you get blown off…its nice to not get rejected!! smile I just need to build up more confidence… or swagger? is that what the kids are saying now? lol

So here is my ‘cutting plan,’ for the rest of Jan…

Not too extreme, but Im noticing I’m allowing too many things back into my diet that I need to tighten up…yes, you can still have too much of a good thing!

-No dairy :frowning: accept for one whey shake pwo or 1 cup of ff plain yogurt in the morning…highly disheartened to learn that my cottage cheese has corn starch in it, BLECH!!!

-1 piece of fruit daily

-2 handful of cooked brown rice,oatmeal quinoa or beans on training days(1 serving in the morning, one pwo)

  • up to 50 grams of fat in the forms of flax, olive oil and fish caps

The rest of my cals coming from lean protein and as many green veggies as I want…

This should take care of the ‘last 5 pounds.’

oh ya, utilizing P+C for the first half of the day and P+F for the second half…

I’m trying to find some stairs I can start running as part of my conditioning! sounds like fun…Im not giving up on the jogging though. But I think I’d get more out of stair running/hill sprints, especially for strongman training…

For my 330 feeding I settled with a whey shake, which was BLECH, so I only got half down…a scant handful of almonds(about 10) and a moose stick
oh and my afternoon cup o tea…vanilla chai…mm.

Already looking forward to dinner…changed it up…chicken breasties w/thai pb sauce(gonna mix some natural pb and sweet chili sauce and see what happens) :stuck_out_tongue:

Soooo, I’ve been thinking…aaaand I’m going to start training more…I figure if I want to LOOK like I train, then Im going to have to TRAIN MORE…

Gonna start with upper/lower every other day…am I nuts? probably. Don’t answer that.

Depending how it goes anyway…hopefully I don’t break down and I recover alright. I haven’t trained more than 3x/week in a pretty long time…most being 4x/week summer of 08!

My focus is still strength, but I also want to be more conditioned…so in between days I’ll do my intervals and body weight stuff…If it interferes with the main 5/3/1 stuff then I’ll cut down…

I have the time for it now, while the kids are in school…
