Lat pulldowns
3x10x100

3x12x15s

singles at 55 assistance…YAY!!

3x8x-75 assist.

done. Steve asked when I was going to train for a meet…heh…bodybuilding powerlifting strongman, Ill do it all!! lol…you only live once!!

Badass progress Mom. Make sure to post the vid when you deadlift twice your bodyweight.

haha, thanks…that would be Shauna, who is about to pull 350 in a month or two…but Ill keep working at it!!

I had beef jerkey and peanuts before the gym

Now for some bacon, scrambled eggs n hashbrowns…mm

I really suck at keeping track of calories/logging my food…even when Im dieting I just eat as much protein as I can stomach + veggies…its usually 5-8oz at a time of both  usually more veggies though.

Well I see you pulling 255, and say “damn!”. Its all relative.

well, they were off the rack…but I stood on some plates so the bar would be just about the middle of my knee…which seems to be my sticking point…

Im off to the mall to get fitted for a bra!! can’t live in my gym cloths forever…

nice work on those presses (shoulder and BB) crap you are strong all over.

i’m with you on tracking cals…i eat about the same way. eat a big ass portion of protein and some veggies. just had MORE SALMON folks…a BIG peice too!

and avoid the soupbowls when you go bra shopping…

soup bowls, ha!

Imma 40c(still) I was a 44d not too long ago, damn…and she said Im probably on the cusp of a c and big b…shit. the hubby’s gonna replace me he says…he would never! :stuck_out_tongue:

What happens if I dont track cals though, is that I UNDEReat…I want to find out how much I can eat for enough energy/strength, but to keep minimal fat gain at bay…so once Im done dieting, we’ll get that underway

Well shit. I guess now I’m shoulder pressing 40s. Gotta keep up

At least you’re out of soup bowl territory :-H

umm, thanks…I think? lol

damnit, trying to do homework…tis almost done…its easy when I just make stuff up. Im good at that, writing stories and what not…

Im writing about my cultural identity…which is weird cause I never really thought about it before!

ok, 300 more words…

Feeling great this morning!

Time to put all the yummy food I’ve had over the last few days to good use!
I’m wearing pants today that I’ve been leary of wearing before cause of hips bulging out, lol…but now they fit, and are a bit loose!!

So I’ve been having talks with myself lately…yes, I talk to myself lol

I need to stay true to myself, and I don’t think competing in bodybuilding is myself! Sorry I jumped the gun with that one…I admire those women that do it, and they look awesome!!! But some fantasies can remain safe in your mind, and you don’t necessarily have to act them out…doing a comp is one of those types of fantasies I think…I think I training wouldn’t be fun anymore if I did that, and that would make me sad…and VIC is so consumed with himself at the moment, and I dont have hundreds of dollars to shell out for coaching advice online or however people do it.

Im still interested in growing muscles, and actually LOOKING like I train though…looking hot while lifting HEAVY FTW!!!.. eating and training for strength is what I love, and what got me into training and wanting to help others to begin with!

Maybe its pressure from the gym to stand out amongst the trainers, and of course for myself…but I really DO want to compete in SOMETHING eventually…it would be fun to have an end goal and to keep this motivation GOING!!!

Ok, I feel better now…Im not counting out a bodybuilding comp entirely, but it just doesn’t feel right at the moment…maybe if I had some more encouragement and a gurantee I would get all the help and advice I would need to succeed…but there are no gurantees!

I’ll say it…Im not a very big risk taker…but given the right tools and motivation from others around me I can go that extra mile. tell me I cant do something and I do it 100x times better than you’d think

Good for you making the right decision for yourself.

Well, you haven’t actually finished with your first and primary goal yet which is getting to the weight you want to be at, and maintaining yourself there. It certainly makes sense to focus on that, complete that challenge and then look around for a new one.

Looking hot while lifting heavy, FTW!

Its definitely not out of the realm of possibilities…talked to Vic briefly and apparently the show saturday didn’t go so well…he’s gone just about as far a natty bb’er can go…the man is 45! He says he is going to lay low for awhile and focus on training other people that want to compete!

And yes Kim, that is so true!

Training

Planks 1x 1m 15s
1x 60s

Hypers-
3x8x25plate behind the head!!! exponentially HARDER!!!

Bench-
4x10x105

BB row-
4x10x95

Incline db bench
2x10x40s 1x8x45s 1x6x50s went for the 55s, FAIL!!

Chest supported db rows-

Inverted rows-feet/legs straight out
3x8,6,5

Harder than feet on a bench, IMO!

BB pullovers
4x10x30lb–never did these before!

Skullcrushers
4x10x50lb

Hill walking up to 12 on the incline @3.0-20 minutes

YAY FOR HIGH VOLUME!! LOVE IT!

Now for some grub…scrambled eggs and hasbrowns…mmmmm

you and your hashbrowns…i prefer country potatoes myself. MMMMMM.

and damn you and your 50 DBs…great job. what did you think of the BB pullovers? you can end up taking the emphasis off your back if you aren’t careful with your arm movement. (where then the tris and taking more of the load)

wait- what were you aiming for? i do em for back (yes, part of that Dr Clay article)

well, I hadn’t really planned on doing em, just one of those things that popped in my head

I did em laying on the floor actually, cause then I went right into the skullcrushers. Feelin the pump in my lats now

Haven’t eaten yet, waiting to get hungry…takes awhile for the adrenaline to settle! Which is weird cause all I’ve had is two turkey sausage links and a handful of peanuts this morning, lol…

Yeah, good for making a decision that was right for you. Bodybuilding is pretty admirable, but the dieting would do my head in. After reading Molly’s post about the contest prep possibly contributing to her thyroid probs, even though she nailed it and was sensible, I’m really not sure that it’s a healthy thing to do. At the end of the day, you have to do what makes you happy.

exactly Cal!! Lifting makes me happy!

And when I really think super hard about it training body parts doesn’t sound like it would make me happy. :stuck_out_tongue:

And secretly my hubby is probably thrilled…if my bbs shrunk any more I don’t think he could handle it, poor guy. I already give him a hard time cause my biceps are going to out grow his soon, haha! no, not really, but it’s my trick to get him to start working out…I thnk Im making progress there actually!

hes more of a hunter, fishing kind of guy…he only does minimal activity that the Navy forces him to do…but time is catching up to him and he wants his abzz again

Does anyone else feel like a bottomless pit after training? I think once I start keeping up with training(not dieting) I could get away with two carby meals pwo!!
