It’s the money part that I am most worried about. I already work at the gym, so that part is taken care…I have time to train, check…chicken and broccoli? check check…Pro BB’er that thinks I can do it? PRICELESS!!!
cost of suits, tanning oil, posing coach, choreographer?? ehhh, not sure!!
Training was good, but I don’t think I was ready for more dl’ing…
Front squats
3x12x95
DL-
1x5x135
2x5x185
Then I just went for it…
1x1x225…uuuuugly!!
Static lunges-
3x10x115
supersetted with
Leg curls
3x10x120
Abs stuff…found the sweet spot…20 reps
3x20(3 count) flutter kicks
3x20xum, the ab move where you are holding a plate straight up, while crunching? lol(25lb plate)
And here is my dieted down DL of 225…shiiiiet, I didn’t say it was PRETTY!!! probably gonna be hurtin in the morning…I think my problem was that my shoulders are pretty toasty from yesterday…oh, and that was all done on a piece of string cheese! was in a hurry this morning…
Well, yer back was a bit round, which you know, but it seemed to come off the floor easily enough. You’ve got more in you.
Tip: take your shoes off, or (if your gym objects to shoeless training) get some Chucks or Vibrams, or some kind of completely flat shoe. Having a heel will pitch your weight forward, which is the last thing you want on deadlifts.
Cal- thanks…I don’t think I’ll be doing 1 rep maxes anytime soon!
…that shits no joke, if you hurt yourself, then what? bye bye lifting!
I DO like maxing out every once in awhile though…I just shoulda known that today wasn’t a good day…I’m sore as hell from doing shoulders yesterday!! And the 225 I pulled last Friday felt WAY better! my back is already sore from today…yikes!
What I’d really love to learn how to do well is strain with good (or at least acceptable) form. I’m certainly not there yet, which is why I’m going up really slowly on weight at the moment.
ya, thought about humping it more, but as soon as I pulled it from the floor, I knew I was in trouble…
Back is feeling fine this morning though, so thats good!
Weight is down to 184.5…
Really contemplating taking my diet break, until the 30th of NOV…and then do another round til the 20th of DEC which is when my two week break for school starts! This diet gets tiring and old after awhile…and I’m craving more training/cardio and this diet just doesn’t support that.
I would still keep carbs low, cause naturally that’s what my body likes…carbs centered around training, moderate fat (50g) and keep protein the same= 150-170…
You really got to drop it likes its hot and sink into the lift humping works!
I would round my back too…so I am alwayws working on sitting back, keeping back straight and use a lot of leg into the lift…I pull the bar towards me. Needless to say, I have banged up shins!
g dang girl, 50’s! freakin awesome. are you doing bent-over one arm rows? cause 55 is nice too! that hammer strength machine with plates, i do 65, but i’m sure there is some ‘cheating’ involved with that seated position.
congrats on the 184…and happy diet break! i eat eggs with spinach (usually a lil cheese) every morning. say, i didn’t realize there are 5 net carbs in 1.5 cups of spinach! wtf…i thought spinach was a freebie. do you count those if you are counting? (yes, is probably the answer)
Im still waiting to hear more about what I should do to get the ball rolling. Im thinkin I may have jumped the gun…I would have come back from a PL’ing or strongman comp saying the same thing…Victor is such a busy guy, I think he would leave me hanging a lot…Im a smart girl but I dont know the first thing about prepping for a show…and I dont have 100s of dollars/month to find out!
I’d be most happy spending time eating, getting stronger and looking hot while doing it!

I know what NOT to do, and I know WHAT to do…I just wanted to pull that weight to prove that I can still at least get it off the floor! :D[/quote]
Every once in a while, you just need to do this.
Semantics later.
