Anyone Using the Samurai Diet?

Anyone using this? Written by Nate Miyaki who sometimes writes on here. Very basically he recommends eating protein only breakfast, paleo for lunch and Japanese for dinner (similar to paleo but with added carbs from select sources).

Been following it loosely and i find it pretty easy to adhere to, looking for other peoples opinions who have tried it.

Yes!! I take a few concepts from this book (I had to adjust some things because I train twice a day M-F). Nate actually helped me with my first cut to 135 lbs after I competed at 145 lbs my first 4 fights.

The book is more focused towards losing weight/leaning out, but the same concepts can be applied to a hyper-caloric diet.
Personally I believe the book is very well written and cheap. He has a good bit of references to back up his points/theories.

Yes. And it works. Love it personally, 14 lbs down over 7 weeks from a pretty lean start point.

Yer Im on a modified version. I allow myself carbs for breakfast in the form of oats or sweet potatoes, on the mornings that I train.

Typical day:

Breakfast(8:00am): 4 boiled eggs, celery with PB, oats and berries or some baked sweet potato
Meal 2(11:00am): meat and veges.
Meal 3(2:00pm): meat and veges, and rice(if training in the evening)
Snack: nuts.
Meal 4(7:30pm): meat and veges, and rice/potatoes(if carbs are needed)
Meal 5(9:00pm): if Im hungry at night Ill have a tin of tuna with some mustard.

Good to hear. Yes it is good value at $10. Taking a break from it at the moment and trying to decide to go back on this or IF.
