Hi Guys
Just wondering who has tried Nick Nilsson’s book’s Muscle Explosion and Mad Scientist Muscle.
What were your experiences with these 2 books.

Muscle Explosion was great, put on about 4lbs in a month. Don’t have Mad Scientist Muscle. I will get that one day though…
I personally like doing an exercise 5 days in a row (second week) as it always gives me results. That’s how I added a lot of lbs to my overhead press too in the past.
Intriguing.
Is there an online outline of the routine?

You can scroll down and click on each blue link…
You should be able to read it there. I bought it when it came out and liked the program. I bought several of his programs over the years and he’s innovative to say the least. Hybrid training is a great one too…

Thanks Marq!
I’m always looking for anything new to read on training and diet. As such I thumbed through these at a book store and after a few minutes put 'em back on the shelf. Anytime an author puts a photo of himself as ‘proof’ of why you should listen to them, and they’re not the size of the more impressive guys at your gym, not ripped, or not really citing a bunch of science-y stuff that I may not already know, I save my money.
Also, and I know I’m probably a bit further along than many people on these forums, there really wasn’t anything totally novel or brilliant in here. Maybe it’s just a matter of viewing his writing in comparative terms to the authors and coaches whom I’m more respectful, and well versed in the theories of.
Just my two cents, that’s all. I don’t know the author aside from what was included in his books, and what he’s written about himself online.

Lol - sorry man. Not my intention.
I thought possibly the pics you saw were not as good. ; )
There were a couple other pics where he was more bulked but still looked good. There was also a “before” where he looked crappy…

Ha, you’re not an ass at all, more like one of the nicest posters on here BUT I wonder if the books you flipped through are Nillson’s. Perhaps that’s where the confusion lies. As I understand it, he only sells e-books. Could be wrong though…

^This is the book I saw, and by the pic included herein based my general opinion of the author’s physique. From solely this image, I just grouped him into the “I’ve been training for years, definitely built some muscle, but I’m sort of pudgy from always eating-big, so if I constantly puff out my chest and always lift as heavy as I possibly can, everyone will be really impressed” - type we see at most gyms -lol.
I guess I’ve just seen too many real and E-books lately from people who I really wouldn’t consider the ones who should be authoring how-to’s. Similarly, if you look online, or even just on Facebook you’ll see that practically every group of buddies who love training seem to form their own “Fitness” or “Training” site. There’s nothing wrong with loving your training and the lifestyle, but in my opinion this is why there’s such an overabundance of ‘advice’ out there, and why the # of quality resources are few and far between.

I stand corrected
Those are not impressive at all. I have seen better of his…
