Anyone Read/Done the Vertica Jump Bible Program

This is to anyone that has read and done or going through the kelly baggett vjb book, he states that its best to do the plyometrics the same days as leg work which works best for me also but i have a question,

is it better to do the plyometrics before the weightlifting or after, I assumed it was after but its extremely taxing to go through after a hard day of squatting and especially deadlifting

I’d alternate every other workout. I switch up my vertical/horizontal jumps to before and after.

If you’re doing same day you’d be best off doing the plyos early in the day and the weights in the evening. Otherwise do the plyos straight before weights. Generally speed, explosive or technical oriented work should come before slower heavier stuff.

ok thanks for the help, ill do them before then, i barely got through it last time doing it after,

and unfortunately most days i dont hate the time to schedule them in seperate times of the day
