i was playing football today, and cut to make the catch, and somewhere between cutting and jumping to catch it, i injured my left foot. it hurts on my instep. i can curl my toes downward no problem. i can curl my toes towards my knee with slight pain. i cannot put my full weight on it.
whem i’m sitting down just chilling, there’s a dull throb.
you need to see a doctor to get an examination and x-rays. Sounds like a good sprain but if people could just describe their symptoms online and get a diagnosis then we’d never need doctor appointments.

you prob just sprained your ankle if your really worried go see a doctor and if it is a sprain he can laugh at you like we are. [/quote]
Right…
I have sprained both ankles and broken the exterior bones on the sides of both feet and broken three toes. The sprain hurt almost as bad as the broken bones.
You could have hurt a retinaculum ( sheath holding tendons in place), the plantar fascia, or some of the foot muscles. ART could handle something like this fairly easily.
it’s getting a lot better. the day after i injured it, i coudln’lt put any weight on it, had to buy crutches. the next day, i could limp around on it. and today, i can walk almost normal, with minimal pain.
i’ve just been making sure to move my toes around and stretch out my foot, and when i had crutches i had a ace bandage on it.

Good man. Thanks for the follow-up.
Oh yeah…make sure to keep it warm…try sticking it up your ass…the guy that works at the deli I used to go to for lunch told me it worked wonders for his sprained thumb.
