Annual Training Plan

Hi there,

Does anyone know some good book which can be useful to make an annual training plan ? My main goal is to gain size like a bodybuilder, even though I like strength too.

I want to start a yearly planning where every routine is logically consequential to the previous one. A good guide could simplify this process.

I mean even a good program, like texas method, 5/3/1, layne norton etc. can’t work by itself forever (or I just don’t want to do the same things for a year), but it’s necessary to progress in a logical manner, which doesn’t mean just change random routines.

I hope you can help me,
Thank you !

The book “5/3/1 Forever”, oddly enough, contains exactly what you need to plan how to train for a full year.

What if you plan out a year of training to reach a specifc goal and you hit it in 6 months?

And yet Yates, Coleman, plenty of champs and top pros never changed their routines unless they were injured or selling something.

Main goal is to look like a bodybuilder but, is considering 531? Does not compute.

Want to look like a bodybuilder? Train like a bodybuilder.

thanks you, I’ll take a look at this.

Thanks all, but I think that a sort of programming is useful and gives some motivation to a proper bodybuilder too.

If anyone knows any other interestings books, I will thank you
