Anything significant about the number 209?
Ahh, typing mistake
Most people would pick 200 since it’s an even number, but not anna! She was be 9 lunges ahead of everyone else
Week 4: Day 1 (Sunday)
Squats: 6x6-80kg beltless
lying leg raises: 4x28
good mornings: 4x12-50kg
Press: 3x11-30kg
DB glute bridges: 5x20-50lb db, 1min rests
4x(25m isometric bicep walk-12.5lb dbs+50walking lunges), no rest btw sets, followed by 100 air squats after the 4 sets
- felt pretty tired going in but the squats were VERY solid, chose to do things beltless (kept volume same) to change things up, definitely killed lower body w/ this one
Week 4: day 2 (yesterday )
Deadlift: 4x8, 1x2 (paused), 105kg
Deadbug: 5x15/side
Snatch grip dl: 4x8-65kg
Leg extension: 5x5-75lbsw/5sec negatives
Conditioning: 5x6kbs-40lb kb EMOM, 4x(20sec db ABCs-30lb db+20 sec rest)
Bodyweight leg work: 200 alt bodyweight lunges, 100 air squats
- felt heavier than I would have liked but got it done….
Week 1: day 3 (yesterday)
50 min fitness blender kick-boxing video
- felt really good and got HR up, good change of pace
Schedule is a bit screwy bc gym closed for some reason yesterday.
Update:
I got around to weighing myself this morning (same time, same clothes, post bathroom) and as predicted was 106. Not surprised. So basically I’ve put on 1.5 lbs in a little over a month. That’s faster than I’d like. The issue is that I cannot for the life of me stay disciplined with nutrition.
I’ve honestly lost motivation to do anything aside from the bare minimum ![]()
I haven’t started my essay for that stupid gender studies class and the draft is due Tuesday
@SvenG @T3hPwnisher i hit 100kg for a double on squats!!!

Congrats! Looks like that 1.5lbs of weight put on was exactly what you needed!
Week 4: Dat 4
Squat: 2x5-90kg, 1x4-95kg, 1x2-100kg, fail 105
lying leg raises: 4x15/side
good mornings: 5x8-55kg
leg extensions: 5x8-75lbs, 45sec rests
conditioning: 10-1 manmakers, 20 alt bodyweight lunges btw sets
- this was awesome!! squats felt so smooth and light, rest of it was HARD- something about heavy weights just destroys me
Awesome! Nice work.
Actually, that doesn’t do it justice. Not even close…
Let me soak this in:
Your “1x2-100kg, fail 105” → “1x2-220 lbs, fail 235” at 106 lbs BW is like me getting 1x2-405 lbs and then having the balls to attempt 432 lbs at 195 lbs BW.
That’s not awesome, @anna_5588, that’s insane!
Insanely strong.
I think @tlgains got it right:
Thanks for the encouragement everyone
Week 4: day 5 (yesterday)
Press: 8x2-40kg
Incline bench: 5x5-95lbs
Curls: 5x10-25lb dbs
Lat pull downs: 3x10-50lbs
- quick upper body day with original gym buddy who came to visit, it was fun doing a workout with someone but there was definitely a lot of dicking around
Update: I think I’m burnt out. I haven’t been able to motivate myself to do anything productive… also, diet discipline has gone completely out the window. I’ve been eating whatever I want whenever I want. This is very scary. I hate this. No matter what my intentions are or how not hungry I am, when I see something good, I just eat it
@SvenG @T3hPwnisher I am kind of tired of so much squatting and deadlifting. What if I took next week to dick around, then get back on programme?
Your training and nutrition is so unique I honestly can’t predict what will happen next! Alwaya worth experimenting
If I let this:
stop me, I’d never squat or deadlift! (Haha.)
But I think this:
is true generally, and particularly here.
I actually love squatting and deadlifting, but it would be nice to not have sore joints for a couple of days
Getting my fat arse to work: Day 1
Good mornings: 20x10-50kg (this is not a typo)
leg extensions: 6x6-75lbs w/3sec negatives
DB rows: 5x10/side-30lb db, no rest btw sets
- I was pissed that I weighed in at 107 this morning so decided to put all that extra fat to work. this went a lot better than expected and I didn’t go off the rails with nutrition today. I’ve not been in a good headspace lately, so I’ll take whatever wins I get
@SvenG @cyclonengineer a rather big academic win.
I presented my thesis project at lab meeting yesterday. It got absolutely torn apart, which was actually more fun than I expected. One of the comments was that some of my data analysis looked strange. Turns out I had made a major mistake in the analysis. A professor redid the analysis and not only did I have significant results, the results are in line with my hypothesis!
Getting my fat arse to work: Day 2
Climb 600 floors (up and down stairs of dorm building)
- the plan was 500 but my stupid pedometer wasn’t sensitive enough so had to climb another 100 for it to say “500”
This was not as bad as I expected. I have a new motto. “Ich bin nicht aus Zucker”
