Dumbass! What did you think was going to happen? And then you wonder WHY your mom wouldn’t let you have the barbell. It’s because you absolutely will not behave. You cannot show enough responsibility to have it, because of stupid shit like this.
Damn, somebody got her own mom nerve pinched just a bit there.
Anna,
Hope the medical stuff gets sorted for you. Take care of yourself!
One guess what they’re gonna find…

I know how…
Happy belated bday though!
Happy belated birthday!
Well, I like to do crazy workouts on my birthday- it’s a thing apparently
Yup.
Lol…welcome to the club, little one!
Was that necessary?
Yep! Somebody needed to say it. She hasn’t been to a gym in over a year, she has already maxed out on squat, deads, and OHP, this week, then turns around and pulls a stupid stunt like this knowing she can’t eat and will have to shit her guts out before the procedure tomorrow. It’s a bad combination and proves she is not taking any of this seriously.
Anna is going to do, what Anna wants to do regardless of the outcome.
With all due respect, we’ve all been perpetually saying the same things since she started this log. Different ways, different words, and context, but the same essentially. Adding aggression into the mix just provokes a specific defense.
It’s a habit for her.
I disagree. She’s prioritizing. Albeit in a way most of us don’t fully understand, and in a way that’s mostly counterproductive to her over-all well-being. To you, it seems idiotic. Perhaps it is, concerning the specific perspective you and many others have. To Angie, it’s a mental pathway that she prioritizes. She wouldn’t do it, if it didn’t provide some sort of stimulus to her. Whether that stimulus is negative or positive, doesn’t matter, it’s a stimulus she’s aware of and gravitates toward.
Yes. She will. But I don’t think her doing what she wishes to do, warrants that kind of response. Tough love is easy to give out. Gentle love, maybe less so. Especially if someone isn’t doing something we want them to do.
Yes she’s now made it that much more difficult for herself, but who hasn’t done that at some point in their life? The length of time someone keeps doing it, seems to strike a nerve with people concerning this particular log, but nonetheless, regardless of duration, we’ve all been there before, in some way. Be nice to her anyways. I’m not saying to coddle or to sugar coat, but calling her a dumbass may just further solidify defensive responses.
Edit:
I know I come off as a bleeding heart type of person more often than not when I comment, and I’ll be honest and say I’ve also gone so far as to make a completely separate email account specifically for Anna in the event she ever wishes to talk to me about whatever, but that’s because I’ve been where she’s been. You know? Of course not specifically what she’s going through or dealing with, but the means and ends are similar.
And that’s all I’m really suggesting in my post. Try to understand where her head is at. Her behavior will begin to make sense when you do.
(as someone who started following this thread recently) I am completely confused as the the ‘hate’/ tough love this girl gets?
Did i miss anything?
If it’s hate people should probably unfollow the thread for everyone’s sake
There is no hate; just a lot of maternal/paternal fear.
Aye, pretty sure most people here like Anna and just wish better for her than what she gives herself.
Sorry to be tardy to the party - happy belated birthday!

Not really- apparently all the women in my mum’s side have it. Almost stopped me from getting kidney surgery, just didn’t know the Chinese term at the time
There’s also a good chance little bro has it too. He’s just never had an ecg
