Anavar: Price versus Effect?

50mg / day anavar is way more than youd need to get a significant result over more time if you split it up. I was pretty wowed by 24mg/day for eight weeks and it was the only thing i took aside from a 150mg or so trt weekly dose (thats essentially doubling the androgen load, mind, and by itself did put my HDL below range). If i do it again, probably take 10mg/day for three months or something.

I’ve taken 50mg var daily and tbh I saw little difference. A lot of folks will say you only need a little, but some others I know (who are heavyweights) will say 50mg/day is the minimum threshold to even do anything.

Try it and see what works for you.

Semaglutide doesn’t really do anything for actual fatloss though, it’s just a hunger suppressant.

You could do the same by adding veggies into every meal.

Hmmm I would buy an Amazon pill splitter and decide for yourself. Probably not feasible. At 50mg just be warned, the pumps could be unbearable. At 30mg I have left the gym before my last exercise…

I would run that 4-6 weeks. Go longer if you want but I would plan this out like a blast. So have an easy week of training and then follow a legit program for 6 weeks of hell. (Paul Carter has some stuff on here). 2 a days would be my recommended method. Maybe train first thing in the am to reduce the pump? Has helped me in the past.

Then take a week off and eat perfect, walk in the sun, fuck your significant other and recover. Train hard the rest of the summer and you’ll look great. The drugs are just allowing you to train that hard….

No difference on 50mg of Var?! Man, any chance it wasn’t real?

That’s true. Compliance is easier for me with the semaglutide lol. I try to do both (veggies and semaglutide). More lighter fruit like strawberries too.

Basically everyone knows you can lose weight by consuming less fries and coca cola, and eating more cucumbers. Very few pull it off though. It basically takes will power out of the equation (to an extent). It also at least for me reduces the mental toll of dieting. It is an easy button for me.

Extremely unlikely.

Actually, it was 40mg now that i recall. Still, i felt no difference.

No free lunch with adding chemicals into your body. Your SHBG will tank. Does it matter short term? No idea. Just know what you’re doing.

How lean/vascular are you? If you aren’t already fairly vascular, just lose fat the old fashioned way. Oxandrolone isn’t magic.

I’m on oxandrolone in my profile pic. 25mg/day for maybe 6 weeks at that point, I don’t remember exactly. I already had defined abs and veins showing in my quads/calves prior to oxandrolone. It just makes you look a little ā€œharderā€. Was it noticeable to anyone but me? Probably not.

Wow! I appreciate all the input everyone!

That’s the beautiful thing about TRT as a means to stay healthy longer. Just because your age increases it doesn’t mean your body doesn’t have to slow down too. Glad entering 36 is paired with looking the best you ever had!

@PhilaSCS
Thank you for sharing your experience. That’s exactly my plan if I were to hop on. Just TRT and Anavar. I’d like to get it down to 25mg/day split into two separate doses; however, just experiencing that barrier with my provider only have 50mg available. Don’t want to overdo it with the 50mg/day, however I’m not opposed to experimenting if 25mg/day isn’t an option.

@Andrewgen_Receptors
It sounds like its efficacy varies person to person as far as responsiveness goes. Some people seem to be amazed by its effects and others don’t get a whole lot from it. Subjective almost. I intend on giving it a shot next year.

@Vistavilla
That’s wild that 2 a days may be recommended due to the ridiculous pump! I would be concerned I would be hitting muscle groups too often before they fully recover. Or does the math change on that too once it’s thrown in? Your post got me really looking forward to giving this a try!

@Meathead56
Nowhere near your level! I’m vascular mostly in arms and delts. I see vascularity developing in my chest however it’s not pronounced. No quad vascularity as of yet haha! Leanness could use some work; I’ve never had visible lower abdominals (just four pronounced abdominals and obliques). I’m progressively getting lean from just TRT and dieting. Exploring to see if Anavar could potentially be a bonus.

For the 2 a days I would alternate the plan for higher frequencies focused on strength in the morning, circuits and such at night. I would do an upper/lower or PPL. If you can make the night workouts at home it will be more doable.

So on a push/pull/legs twice a week, a push day would look like

Am workout
Incline DB press - 4x6
Smith machine overhead press- 4x8-10
Skullcrushers- 4x8-12

Pm workout
A1 pushdowns
A2 side laterals
A3 push-ups
Repeat 3-4 times, 10-15 reps an exercise

I appreciate that example. Essentially going strong in the morning and volume at night. That makes a lot of sense as a means to break it up and to maximize the time on Anavar.

If you want to spend the money and dont’ mind the SHBG/lipid impact, then go for it. But you won’t need it for your goals.

The manufacturer removed it from market, right? 2.5mg and 10mg version I think. But that doesn’t mean it’s banned, as I understand it.

Compounders aren’t FDA regulated anyway, and that’s where most guys get their stuff from these days.

Right, but that results in eating less, and losing weight.

Pic is mildly pumped. Vascularity present in arms and shoulders. Little pudge at midsection. Hoping Anavar can at least assist with the process. Muscle retention/fat loss

The good news is you have size. The bad is you’re likely 20%+ in BF based on the pic. Var isn’t going to do much for you IMO other than mess with your libido and lipids. I would cut on TRT only to about 15% BF then consider the Var for that final push and enhancement. Just my two cents.

Nice proportions that show. Drop a little fat. IMO, vascularity isn’t near as important as separation.

Hopefully the Spring may serve as a good target to give it a try. I’m planning ahead more than anything. I’ll lower BF some more.
@RT_Nomad
Thank you, I’ll continue to lean out going forward. Vascularity has always served as a mental indicator for me as far as progression goes. I’ll have to start shifting to make separation of more importance.
