Anaconda Protocol Help

Hi Coach

I tried to post this in the right forum but it wouldnt let me so hope you dont mind me asking here.

Im wanting to start the Anaconda protocol but im unable to eat FINiBARs anymore because of braces…any ideas of how to replace them?

Regards
Alex

Mix the following together in a large bowl (cheaper option):

-Two cups old fashioned oats (raw)
-one and-a-half scoops chocolate whey protein (like Grow!)
-one tablespoon natural peanut butter, one tablespoon natural almond butter
-one and-a-half to two cups hot water
-one banana cut up on top*
-one apple cut up on top*

The only difference with this is that the sugars are mainly from fructose. FINiBAR sugars are made on purpose with rice oligodextrin and isomaltulose. So unless you can get your hands on some of those, just go with Surge Recovery or Surge Workout Fuel (more expensive option).
If you’re tight on time, you might just want to drink your carbs though–Recovery and Workout Fuel are definitely worth the money.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the reply Eric

Not sure if this would work, but you could at least try:

1.) Try melting the bar into a softer texture substance by either a microwave or with some water on the stove

2.) Try either breaking it apart or using the above melting method to blend it up and drink it with some water…

However, it all depends on how bad you want it and how bad you want the results… If it were me i would make it work, because FINiBARs are serious players when it comes to the Iron Game.

lmao funny guy

IMO if you were going with the ‘Eric Burraty concoction’ i wouldnt use oats.

they digest too slowly and i (think) they would interfere with nutrient (ANACONDA) uptake.

something like cream of rice seems to go down easier and digests faster

I used my own oats-based concoction for a while, with decent results. Provided me with about 2.5 FINiBARs worth of calories, with a somewhat similar nutritional profile (I even used palatinose, but couldn’t get rice oligodextrin anyway). Together with the peri-workout drinks that gave me about 1000kcal. The only problem was that sometimes I would get a bit bloated and the whole thing was a bit too heavy on the stomach to always rely on - sometimes it was fine, sometimes it was uncomfortable.

I replaced that with Surge Workout Fuel (from Biotest UK sadly), and have felt great during every workout since then. Peri-workout nutrition went down to about 700 kcal or so (can’t remember exactly right now), but I’m thinking about getting some FINiBARs to go along with my first order from Biotest US and have one about 30 minutes before the workout (15 minutes before the first dose of ANACONDA/MAG-10/Surge Workout Fuel).

I’ve never tried cream of rice, but I imagine it would fall somewhere in between oats and FINiBARs as far as comfort and speed goes. So some experimentation with dosing and timing would be useful.

probably should have read EVERYTHING first… i just thought the OP wanted something to chew on.

if it were me i would get the carbs from dextrose/malto or if you’re low on cash even table sugar

anyways yeah FINiBARs are obviously the number 1 choice but Surge Workout Fuel has the same carbs in it or you could probably use that Surge combo mentioned earlier.

i just dont like the idea all the solid stuff getting in the way of the ANACONDA’s digestion

Put the FINiBARs in a blender.

Now that’s a good ol’ bodybuilder idea there!
