Anabolics vs Supplements

One word -Truth!

Hi guys

I have been an un-active part of this forum for quite some time. So forgive me If I ask something that has already been asked. Being a qualified physician and sports maniac I have been reading alot. Finally I am putting everything I have read into practice. For starters this site rocks !

I have a simple Q , no matter where I go, whomsoever I meet -assuming the guy is one of those bulk manic- they all tell me, without proving to me scientifically , i need to use anabolics to build muscle and actually grow big ,and I just dont seem to agree though cant deny them either

I can’t I prove them wrong , since I haven’t made any gains myself -following Dr. Berardi’s Scrawny to Brawny book-

since I am traveling internationally for my work I dont have access to all the Supplements available in US.

My goal is not to be Arnold-like , its, just to look like one of those Baywatch Life guards with good cuts !

Any feedback and reading material would be appreciated .

Thanks in advance.

Ps: Sorry if this old debate pisses the Guru’s off !

Qualified physician? You don’t realize that food is considered an anabolic? Did I just step in a steaming pile of troll shit?

I meant Anabolic Drugs like Steroids -testosterone etc !

Of-course I know food is anabolic !

Are you retarded?

No you don’t need them, but doing it naturally will take longer. A few good solid years of lifting heavy and really pushing it to increase the amount of weight being used and eating enough of the required calories from protein, carbs, fats, to facilitate growth. Everyone can have some kind of gains (will vary for a variety of factors) if they follow that simple protocol.

You mean you want to look like this guy? I don’t even need to lift weights to look like hasselhoff.

Qualified for what?

Ok I’m confused.

Who’s bigger/more ripped ‘LaBuff’ or ‘Baywatch Life guards’

And to answer your question OP. Yes you need anabolic steroids to look like this.

Qualified to be a Internist-physician , not a sports scientist or nutritionist

Did my Residency in Internal Medicine and now starting Fellowship in Cardiology …I hope I have answered your Q “RRJC5488”

Thanks a lot for your feedback "Dedicated "

Yes you need to be retarded to Q and start learning and then end up being smart " HK 24719"

And Lastly “Bonez217” Thanks mate, I appreciate your answer but any scientific material or old posts from the Gurus !

Of course not Hassleholff .

I was kidding.

How can you justify being here for 4 years yet not make any gains?

And I’m just throwing this out there. People are going to assume you are some sort of prick because you felt the need to include that you are a qualified physician. That piece of info is completely irrelevant and projects a certain image.

I have to seriously question whether this is true based on the ignorance of your original question, especially when looked at in the context of how long you’ve been on this site.

You haven’t made any gains? Do you train? Or eat?

EDIT:
You mentioned Scrawny to Brawny. Are you actually following it well?

“HK24719” You can spend the rest of your life Questioning and doubting people , i dont care , but in twos word you were “no help” as my original Q has still not been answered .Maybe you never spend time studying for MCAT and later going to Medical School and Then 4 years of carzy work in med-school you set your path to even hectic 3 years of residency …

The fact that I joined this site 4 years ago does not signify I have been an active member and have read everything written and discussed in the last 4 years , thats why i wrote I have been an "un-active " member and in plain english it means inactive member cause I started my residency exactly at the same time .

Any ways Have a nice day , and if you are around the New England area and need a Cardiology consult drop me a PM , so you can come and see for yourself If I exist or not !

For your concern “chimera182” I am sorry I did not mention , no, I have not religiously followed S2B for the last 4 years . So I am to blame not S2B.

I have made gains , I havent made significant gains - i say this as a relative term - in comparison to those who have taken the “juice” and have bulked more than me .

Nevertheless I still think S2B rocks , Dr. Berardi’s stuff makes super sense and if you go to his forum you would find alot of people with significant gains in comparison to me .

So I wont call this system as flawed when I havent been honest to it myself . Let me know if you have any more Q concerning S2B.

Thanks for your comments " BONEZ217"

I dont think everyone is judgmental and stereotypical.

I only mentioned I am an MD to give an insight on my knowledge about Anabolics, How much they teach us against it in clinical practice and so on. I only mentioned my profession so you could know that I am a seasonal amateur, who hasnt made gains, that means he is busy in his career , not that the method he is following is flawed. And I mentioned so people could talk to me scientifically and explain and educate me the role of anabolic drugs in Bulking .

Yes I joined this forum 4 years ago , but that does not mean I have been actively participating since the last 4 years nor does that imply that I have been working out 24/7 since the last 4 years .

If you still feel the information was irrelevant you have your choice to have your opinion . I’d take your advice positively

Any ways To move on I still feel , being dragged away from my Original Q. Any feed on the Q that is Anabolics vs Natural and Supplements for bulking could be appreciated .

And anyone with actual Answers to my Q .

Thanks
