A record is a record. Nothing to be ashamed of. Way to go!

Your in the books period! Nice work.

Sumos are incredibly flexible. They all pretty much have to be able to do the splits. One friend who was a sumo told me that, in the beginning all the other wrestlers in the stable would pile onto him to force him to do a split. After a week or two of that kind of painful training, he one day heard a ripping sound like you describe, and voila! He could do them no problem.

The training they do is outrageous.

I’m actually talking about this[/quote]

Do I look stupid to you, Skid? I posted that for everyone’s kulchurl enlightenment. T-men need that, too.

Send me a pic and I’ll tell ya.

I dunno. Sometimes my funny bone is broken. My bad.

congrats on the record. But I thought you were only about 35…
ol

I’ll be 47 this year.

I’m looking for some good designer walkers. Something that says “Responsible but has a wild heart…”

Screw it, I’m getting a belt.

screw the walker go for a jazzy.
although you are too skinny for a jazzy.

If you do get a belt let me know what you get…
I think I need one, and after ripping off a callous earlier this week I am thinking straps too.

I am thinking 10mm single prong im not sure if I need the inzer style quick realease thing.

Weight:186

3 scoops MMP

Bench (Paused)
barx20
135x10
185x5
215x3
245x3,3,2,1 (PR weight)

1 Arm DB Row
95x6
125x6
145 4x6 (PR Reps +1)

Overhead Press (no pause at bottom)
145 4x5

Pullups (pronated wide grip)
BW 3x10

That’s it. Taking two days off. My back on the left is feeling really iffy. Couldn’t do BB Pendlay rows because of it.

Good benching Skid. You deserve the days off

Looking strong on the bench. And were you working out in jeans?

Good luck with the days off. You’ve earned it!

Nice PR skid - and I like the squat/bench rack.

geez, I thought you were still a kid…

Is that your home gym? With 2 bars? you are living large my brother!
ol

Thanks guys.

j_willy - I surely do need them. I haven’t given myself a break since two months before the competition. My back is killing me.

sfp - Jeans yup. I don’t bother to get dressed up if I’m not going to the gym.

Soldog - It’s my Superman rack - the color, y’know? It’s a little too tall to bench in, so I have to put my bench up on blocks to clear the supports. Screws up my arch, so I’m pretty sure I’m good for more on a competition-height bench.

mj - I AM still a kid. I just got stuck in this wrinkled old body. And I have three bars, two of which are bent-up crap and the third is not the proper diameter (thicker) and a little heavier than a standard oly bar. But I’m lucky to have any of it so I’ll quit complaining.

That is solid weight lifting brother.Your looking great.Nice work!

Some days, man, it’s just like this.

Clean your room. You need to eat more. Great lifting Skid.

You’re right on all counts, LoL.

Thanks Barry.

Hey those look solid, good work.

if you going to lift in jeans you at least need to have a paper bag with boooze in it.
enjoy the days off.
I taking off til monday

Sleep in and enjoy!
