Stop! stop already! Go home!

DL wasn’t coming off the floor very fast tonight and I almost stalled halfway up on the 455.

Seems like I can do 80% all day, though. It’ll come back - I’ve been pushing the deads pretty hard lately anyway.

Does your deadlifting hurt your shoulder at all?Nice pull!

Thanks Jimmy.

Doesn’t really hurt my shoulder, though my right shoulder drops more than my left when I do deads.

Hard to to get excited about 455 when You’ve pulled 515.

Did I miss the name of the “Magic marching powder”? Or are we just calling it “the suppliment”? I sure hope you didn’t get a chemistry set for your B-day and start cooking it up yourself!!! Certainly pushing up the volume in your training though, gotta go with it from time to time…keep it up.

i love anything with creatine in it. Once youre loaded, its an extra 2 reps on the last set of every exercise. Great for a pump too.

Skid, make sure you do some light rehab for the p-chain for a couple days, to get some blood in there. youve been pushing it mui hard.

way to go!

How’d you know? Cooking up a nice batch of crystal meth. That stuff’ll add reps to the heaviest poundages, dog!

My p-chain rehab has consisted of laying the couch moaning and demanding my wife fetch another beer. Followed immediately by quick reversal running, dodging frangible thrown objects and vigorous cursing until out of breath.

Seems to work. Think I’m ready for squats tonight.

I cant speak for the crystal meth…
my wife says I did it to myself…

I do get some luck with the dog…
who will walk my back.

I do get great results with cat camels
hydrants and bird dogs…

and yes Yoga…

I was under the impression that the magic marching powder was a big west coast dose of nose candy

Too much volume? Not able to follow coaches program without lowering poundage. Trying to keep intensity high but can’t sustain it. Getting weaker. Mass gainer hasn’t arrived and I’m not getting enough calories. Weight is holding steady, but I’m not recovering completely. I’m actually kind of ashamed to post these sessions I’m so far off program…

As Old Lardass has said - somebody call me a Waaaaambulance.

Heavy walkout and holds for my back. Been feeling shaky on the squat walkout last few training sessions. Bar was flexing enough where it was difficult getting it off and back on the pins.

Back is feeling good to day. Shoulder is feeling well seated. 2 more heavy days and then test my openers after that. Then a week off.

Looking forward to bench tomorrow.

Lookin’ good all around Skid! Are you sure you won’t go stir crazy taking a whole week off?

I liked that last workout- varied and thorough
priming the entire body.

and doesn’t beer have weight?
kmc

I am tres impressed on the walkouts, skid. I’ve never had that much weight on my back!

as for the weight gain, read Dave Tate’s “ring and crown” story for some tips.

I can’t wait to see how you do at the meet - your gonna be awesome!

Actually you really want to read aobut eating big google Dave Tate Oreo

Thanks for the encouragement and advice fellas.

Bench Day

185x5
225x4
245x3
265 3x2

Full Bench
215 5x4 (paused for 3 sets, t&g last two)

Close grip 3 board press
185 3x8

Band pressdowns
Small Band x a lot x lot.

I thought I had a lockout problem but the real problem is the arm winging out. That got better starting high and doing full range volume low so I’m going back to that. It’s too late to really fix it, but I can stop making it worse at least.

Didn’t take the Magic Marching Powder tonight just to see how it felt. This was harder to get through. Had to take longer rest breaks. Started at 10PM and finished at 11:30PM. On the supplement I’d have done more stuff for sure in that time.

1 more rep per on full bench so things might be turning around.

Bench is looking solid, skid.

the MMP seems to be quite the workout boost when you use it. Is this a standard, already for sale product, or are you a beta-tester for it? might need to getsmesome.
OL

Thats a nice workout Skid. You are setting up nicely for your meet.

Sounds like you’re hitting your peak at the right time. Pullin for you.

Nice work!
