Haha! I agree, but we have no recent pics. I need to start shootin’ soon. She’s not as receptive to be photographed lately. It must be age. She doesn’t realize that she’s hotter now than when she was 20-something. At least to me.

Old photos are fine. Drawings are fine. Audio of her doing the dishes is fine. Old photos and/or drawings accompanied by audio of her doing the dishes are fine. Old photos and/or drawings accompanied by audio of her doing the dishes naked are fine. Old photos and/or drawings accompanied by audio of her doing the dishes naked while diddling would simply be divine.

LMFAO!
I love you too, man. Don’t ever forget it.
Mutual.

9:28-2:48 5 pages, ID is the man.

Where did the Viking go?

Hey ID, I was thinking about getting a print of this and having the backing split so that I could mount it in a corner of a room.

You think that would work?

Yes!
A good reputable output service can print it on adhesive (removable) vinyl. Just be sure copyright laws don’t apply… or at least that the output service doesn’t acknowledge such laws.

lol

Mounting it yourself could be a big deal, though.

I know they’re not metal, but I didn’t want to have a Dave Mustaine question and I fucked up.

Metal Question:

You think Metallica would be nearly as successful if Cliff Burton survived and was still an active member?
Speaking of Dave Mustaine…This question was asked on Much Music live(Canada’s version of mtv) a few years ago. The first correct answer won a Dave Mustaine signature series guitar, not the high end one though, it’s Canada, we’re cheap.

I knew the correct answer right away but I didn’t call in, stoopid. Even if I did call I would have been disqualified on account my sister worked for them in another department, fuck!

Question: What guitarist influenced Dave to play a flying V?

This should be easy.
Micheal Schenker?
Speaking of… I saw the Black Crowes open for MSG back in '90. First time the Crowes played Philly. Incredible show.

Anyone remember UFO?
FUCK.YES.

A severely underrated band, if there ever was one.

Lights Out gets played regularly in my car CD player.

I’m not a Pink Floyd fan. Never was.

neither am I, but I would still like to hear your thoughts on the use of outside noises/chatter/soundtrack that is used from time to time.

like the phrase ‘you dont get any pudding if you dont eat your meat’

I think this is distracting, and takes away from their creativity, if they had any, that is~
‘Animals’ is a personal favorite of mine.

I.D, I am conflicted and need some advice from the manlet mentor.

I have recently been outed by the arch troll gavin henson as a midget sympathiser (along with Nards)

It is begining to affect my work and relationships.

Should I keep flying the flag for little people everywhere and continue championing their cause?

Is it worth the social stigma?

I am begining to weaken in my resolve and need some inspiration and guidance from the supreme manlet warrior.

Okey doggone dokey, Mr. ID, Master of Lyrics, who was Sara and what does she look like?

Do you think everyone really does enjoy drowning in the sea of love or is that just hyperbole?

I know this!!

It’s my favorite FM song.

Who am I but a manlet with a mane, and a bit of art fame?

Let your manlet-ness be a thorn in the side of giants. This is our world and they have to learn to deal with us. Not vice-versa. WE will inherit the earth.
Ever hear of a big old man?

Thank you, I now have a better understanding of our attempts to rise above our station in life, and that in the end, it is meaningless. this is depressing, however insightful.

Now.

another perplexing song is RJD’s Holy Diver.

can you please explain the song title and the lesson that we can all learn from this?
He alluded to the book of Revelations with the imagery. Funny how an atheist gets material from the Bible. lol

Lucifer was an angel who wanted to be bigger than God. He was cast out of Heaven… thrown into the sea (Earth) to live as Satan. Dio uses this as a context to which he expresses how we use religion to define good and evil. Sometimes the line between them is blurred.
I thought this was kind of relevant, if you haven’t seen it already:

Edit: That was supposed to skip to 2:30

Sometimes I find Dios lyrics a bit… puzzling.

Same here. As an somewhat obsessive fan I’m of the firm belief that Animals is their best work.

I don’t post much here but this has become my favourite GAL thread in quite some time. Great answers ID!

Never been a huge Fleetwood Mac fan, but songs like Sara are hard to ignore in their beauty and craft.

Yeah… hyperbole, metaphor, parable… whatever the case may be. When I first heard that song years ago, the line “drowning in a sea of love…” was both repulsive and completely seductive to me. Still is.

I know there were relationships within the group, and between Stevie and Mick. The song sounds like loss to me. A sweet loss of regret, yet gratitude for having had the experience.
Sara was a friend of Stevie’s whom later got between Mick and Stevie. I find Stevie’s lack of anger over it (at least lyrically) to be refreshing. That’s an artist turning a tragedy into an artistic triumph.

Admit you were quietly longing for a “Tigers” song.

On second thought, I’d rather mount her in a corner.

I’d like to mount a defense against gavinhenson but I’m too poor.

To answer Sensei Pushharder, whom I am not worthy to mention his name, I don’t know of any bands that have come out of Canada that are worthy of sharing a thread with our own Iron Dwarf.

To answer Deej, I had to take my Mom to have an echoCardiGram of her heart, doctors orders ( I know you know what that is)

Now~

on to more important issues, this is a question that was posed by our own favorite puppy, Print.

"boxers or briefs, why, and can you PM pics of yourself in various poses in your boxers/briefs to both ImHUNGry and to Print for…review…ahem

Haha! The hatred for Canada continues? lol

Boxers. I like the loose, casual feel and airflow.
NOBODY really wants to see an old dwarf posing in his underwear!

lol
