On a related note, I remember Dave saying in an interview that when they sell one of his top-o-line signature series guitars, proper harware and all,($1700-$2200) he got like six bucks, he’s a bitter dude.

Reminds me of this…

The guitarist in my old band had a beautiful '57 Les Paul Jr.
To this day I never heard a better sounding guitar… well almost.

Anyway, he sent it off to his guitar tech guy for some maintenance when the guitarist from The Hooters saw it in his shop. He offered my guitarist $5000 for it and my guitarist said “If he’s offering that much, it’s worth more. No sale!”

Two years later my guitarist fell on hard times… and ended up selling the axe for a mere $500 to some kid.

sad story…

so, ImHUNGry wanted me to ask a some serious questions, and one that we are all wondering, is what kind of toothpaste do you use, and why?

Whipping post gives me flashbacks from Nam.

Frank Zappa told this story: He said, You know, about six or eight times, in-between songs, somebody would scream out while we’re playing, “Play Whipping Post!!!” We were walking off the stage in Germany one night and somebody screamed “Play Whipping Post!” Zappa said, “I looked at everybody in the band and I said, next time some motherfucker yells that out we gonna play it.” And they learned it and he said that’s one of their favorite cover songs of all times. And they did a great job.

If you’ve ever heard Zappa’s version of Whipping Post, it was incredible. He had Ian Underwood playing with him at the time. I forget who the singer was but he sang the hell out of it. They played it all the time, but it was because somebody screamed “Play Whipping Post” too many times, and Zappa was the kind of guy that would do that. He was something special. We’ll miss him.

Flashbacks.
The Zappa cover of it is fucking great! I actually prefer it to the original tbh, but I’m just a nuts Zappa fan. In fact…most Franks are pretty fucking awesome dudes I’ve noticed. SInatra, Zappa, Frazetta, Zane…

Man that’s sad in alot of ways, $500! wow…

Foreigner…

were they truly groundbreaking, or did they just take some excellent lyrics, tie them up with normal late 70’s guitar riffs and make some money?

what do you think was their best song/album?

LOL!

Some natural brand without fluoride… my wife buys it. It’s not so much what paste you use, but the degree of detail in your oral hygiene regimen.

I brush twice a day, followed by flossing and then a hydrogen peroxide rinse. An top of that, I’m an obsessive all-day flosser… I use those little white flosser thingies after each meal and sometimes just for the hell of it.
I’ve only ever had one small cavity as a teen, and now I’m almost 49 with perfect choppers.

I liked them up to Head Games.
After that they became too radio friendly and sometimes you’d hear one of their tunes in Muzak!

Some great memorable riffs in the first 3 records, and Lou Gramm had a great set of pipes.

Favorite songs: Jukebox Hero, Dirty White Boy, Head Knocker (live version), Hot Blooded…

LOL! Cherry-Poppin’ Red would be a good one!

I LOVE Crayola crayons! They had the best formula so their crayons were always brilliant without flaking or waxy build-up.

Like this one?

Haha! I agree, but we have no recent pics. I need to start shootin’ soon. She’s not as receptive to be photographed lately. It must be age. She doesn’t realize that she’s hotter now than when she was 20-something. At least to me.

Is that the heavy metal rocker, Shania Twain? She’s Canadian!
Could be, I am still listening to my Ipod from 5 years ago, some reason I dont get any new music.

Old photos are fine. Drawings are fine. Audio of her doing the dishes is fine. Old photos and/or drawings accompanied by audio of her doing the dishes are fine. Old photos and/or drawings accompanied by audio of her doing the dishes naked are fine. Old photos and/or drawings accompanied by audio of her doing the dishes naked while diddling would simply be divine.
