Iām 100 miles from the nearest Walmart. Wolves and bears and lions just right over yonder not far from my front door. Folks driving actually wave at you when pass them going the other way. Winters, especially last year, can last a looooooooonnnnnnnngggggg time. Can you handle that?
DJ can, not sure I can, maybe when Iām old and donāt care, or should I say much older. Always lived in TX seen snow twice, need a sweater when itās below 70 degrees, sooooooo I would become a hermit in those looooooonnnnnnnggggg winters.

If that is really where you live then it is stunningā¦you lucky SOB.
Not really too keen on the lions though.
Guess Iām not hard core enough to be living in a place like that.

Oh man. Mercury was a great singer. Daltry was a better frontman.
EDIT: I agree with Edgy. Neither were metal singers⦠for what itās worth.

In no particular order, my top metal singers (without regard for their bands) are:
Ronnie James Dio
Robert Plant
Geoff Tate
Rob Halford
Bruce Dickinson
Chris Cornell (Soundgarden era)
Nils K. Roo (Paganās Mind)

It may be bordering on blasphemy to question the great one⦠buuuutttttā¦
This is the first time I have ever heard Plant labeled as a metal singer.
IMHO he belongs in that first group I.D identified, of non metal singers, with Mercury and Daltry (for what itās worth.)
LMFAO @ Edgyās barrage of RHETORICAL comical questions! Need to take a breath! LOL (Sorry JLO⦠me no answer Edgyās queries).
Push - The blue of those mountains is frigginā unreal! Oh, for this artist to bear witness to that on a daily basis would be utter bliss.
Apnea Diver - I have no plans on teaching art classes anytime soon, but if I did, T-Nation would be the first place Iād announce it.
Cheeky - Though the debate will probably never stop going 'round and 'round, in all honesty Led Zeppelin had as much to do with the invention of heavy metal as Sabbath has had. Iād even argue that Plant has influenced more metal singers than anyone else. A discussion of heavy metal without the inclusion of Zep and Plant would be surely amiss.

OK, ID, Boston or Kansas?

Boston⦠if not just for Brad Delpās amazing vocals (RIP).
Their song āSomething About Youā is rock ānā roll perfection in my book, and I sometimes play that one song on ārepeatā for an hour or so.

Excellent answer!
Iām partial to Foreplay/Long Time myself kinda cuz I plagiarized the lyrics in my high school senior English Lit class when Teach made us compose a poem.
LOL! Seriously? And no one blew it for you? I hope you got an A+.
