Amit Sapir - 16 Weeks Out

Nice job. Great leg development.

I like that he’s posing in his socks.

Could we get a back/double bi shot? I’m mostly interested in what his shoulders look like. How old is he?

Because they looked good in the other shots, but can be best seen in a back double bi…

Dense. Like a freaking neutron star.

Are you planning on keeping us updated during his contest prep or anything?

What would you say his body fat is at right now?

I’m not able to measure him directly so it’s hard to say exactly. Probably around 8%

Impressive thickness, reminds me of Yates for some reason.

CT, what do you consider his strong and weak points?

Looks like his lats are quite short.

Wow
CT, could you describe a little his diet when gaining mass?

Strong points: upper leg (very complete: quads, hams, glutes), delts, triceps, abs, overall thickness, conditioning (the guy gets PEELED… in contest shape his glutes striations are so deep that you could stick a pencil in there)

Weak points: lat width, biceps, blocky waist

Just for the kick of it:
In Hebrew:
Amit = colleague, friend, comrade
Sapir = Sapphire

Some very thick dude you got there Thibs!
His Powerlifting background is very evident.

Nothing special really. A basic carbs cycling diet with a moderate caloric surplus.

CT,

Can you talk more about his training sessions? Power lifting in the morning and bodybuilding at night, is it a matter of rep ranges or more specific exercises?

CT -

Do you have any ‘before’ shots from the past couple years he’s been training with you? Would be interesting to see the progression to where he is now.

Impressive.

“Weak points: lat width, biceps, blocky waist”
How would you fix the blocky waist problem? Is that genetic or is it from lots of heavy squats, deadlifts, and ab work from his powerilfting background? Will the reduction of those exercises help his waist?

It’s a combination of several factors. Yes his powerlifting/olympic lifting background, but it’s also the overall shape of his body. He’s a lot like Lee Priest in that he has a very long torso and high lats insertion. So it’s not so much that his waist is large, it just has the illusion of being blocky.

We can’t really fix it, an anyway I’m not 100% sure that it would make him look better. His strongest point is that he looks like a brickhouse, a steel ball. I’m not willing to sacrifice this look in hope of making his waist appear smaller.
