Hola.
Am I performing deadlifts correctly?

Not really, you should do them on the ground instead of on the wall. Where do I get those spiderman shoes?
Some other points that might be more helpful:
Your low back is rounding.
The bar path isn’t straight up and down, you’re sending it out around your knees.
It got worse when you increased the weight, so stick with a lighter weight while you work on your weaknesses.
I’m far from an expert but my guess is that you aren’t pushing your hips back far enough, and I suspect you have weak hamstrings and glutes relative to your quads.
Drive through your heels, and push your ass back. Keep your low back arched and hold your low back and core tight throughout the lift.
Correctly performed Romanian DL might be a good assistance exercise for you. Push your hips back, you really should feel the contraction in your glutes and hamstrings and less so in your quads.
Do some pull-throughs or something like that to activate your glutes before you DL.
It’s great that you asked for help. I saw a guy doing this but MUCH WORSE at my gym recently. I normally never say anything to anyone who hasn’t asked but this guy was reaching for more weight and was going to hurt himself very soon.
Big mistake, he didn’t take my advice well and justified what he was doing by saying a personal trainer told him to do it that way! (That is probably true, doesn’t make it smart though).
There are a bunch of other things to work on, particularly in your set-up, but the two points I made above are what is more important to get right at this point in time. When you can get the right muscles working, post more video to fine-tune.
What he said ^^
Also, push your chest out. That should help.
Thanks guys.
I’ll post another video very soon ![]()
