Ok, the swelling really isn’t getting any better today. I’ve been taking Ib prof. as a pain killer and to keep the swelling down. What can I take to get this swelling to go away?? two days ago I couldn’t even put my left sock on, thats how bad it is. Should I just wait this out? or go to the doc.?

Dude, you need to see a Dr. I’m on an identical cycle to yours and just did my third shot this morning in my ass. I referenced siteinjections too, used a 1.5" pin and cleaned the area thoroughly with alcohol.

I’ve never experienced anything like you’re describing. I’ve never heard of the 45 degrees idea (I used 90) but I don’t see how that could help given that, if this is an infection, the bacteria don’t care which direction they’re coming from!

I’ve had some “lumps” at the injection site form when using test prop in the past, but they were not painful to the touch and were gone in a day or two. You’ve been talking about this since Monday.[/quote]

I know this is not normal. I am not sure what happend or what I did wrong the second shot. The first shot I did was on my own, I did everything…cleaned it ect. by myself and I only experienced little pain, nothing major and NO swelling.

My second shot I let my girl do, who is in the medical field. Mistake number one!!! I’m never going to let anyone stick me again. I showed her where to inject at and everything.

The only thing I can think of is she did not clean the vial with alcohol before drawing the oil, or she did not insert the needle all the way, which is crucial because I was only using a 1inch needle. Enough said. I have some 25g 1.5’s on the way, should not be a problem anymore, and the pain/swelling is getting better.

If its not gone by monday, I’m goin to see the doctor. I have been using a heating pad, and it seems to be really helping. Have you made any gains from your gear yet??

It’s only day 7, but I can definitely feel it starting to kick in. Nothing major to report yet, but keep posting on your progress as I’m curious. Sounds like you’re getting better man, that’s awesome.

The pain is not that bad and the swelling has gone down on my ass a little. But the swelling has moved up to the lower part of my back, it doesn’t hurt but just feels different. I can now lay on my left side and when I do I can feel like a hard spot in my ass??? I’m going to need some informative responses on this one…

Where did ya get your gear? Are you using sterile needles, alcohol prepping the skin, etc??? Dude, I have used evry size from 18g to 25, and I prefer the 22 or 23 guage inch 1/2.

The nurse above was right about the oil being thick. Make sure you are using a reputable brand, and make sure EVERYTHING is clean and sterile! Throw old needles away!

Ok, I have tried gear in the past, no secret, it wasnt for me. I dont knock anyone doin it. You got all the feedback you needed and there is obviously something wrong so here is an informative response…go see a fucking doctor.

Exactly… something ain’t right when swelling is trveling the body… Read elitefts.com this week. A guy named Dave died from an infection in his back that he ignored. Granted, it was a broken back that he didn’t know he had, but the infection killed him. He was a GREAT powerlifter, and this is nothin’ to play with…

Thanks for everyones respones to this…I was in a lot of pain for some unknown reason. Currently, I am not in any pain at all and the swelling is almost completely gone. I receive my 25g 1.5 inch needles and made my first stick with them I’ve had no pain or swelling at all!!! Now I can sit back and enjoy! thanks again everyone!

i know its an old thread, but i believe everyone here mentioning the 45 degree injection has some false info (its called Zee Track Injection). You don’t inject in a 45 degree fashion, you actually stretch your skin to one side, inject 90 degree’s and once its all done and your skin goes back to normal. Its hard to explain so just watch this video, towards the end.

You can do it, but I really don’t see the need for Z-track injections with AAS.
