23 years old, training for over 7 years. 6’1 245lbs around 13-16%bf
cycles(not including serms, or ai’s) all 3 cycles i use a 23g 1 1/4 needle.
1st cycle:test E 500mg EW 12wks
2nd cycle: sus 250 500mg EW 12wks +30mg Dianabol ED 5wks
I just started my 3rd cycle which is 500mg test E EW 12wks and dbol 50mg ED 4-5wks.
I have never had bad experiences with pinning, only slight soreness never any pain or soreness that was debilitating.
howver my first of 500mg of test E for this cycle was on wednesday night (ventrogluteal injection). injection felt fine went to bed feeling great. Next day felt as sore as if hasd done on previous cycles which is nothing really, went to bed feeling good…woke up throughout the night feeling A LOT of sorenss from the area.
when i got up in the morning i couldent lift my leg without pain almost couldent walk at all, led abduction is very painful. It seems to be swollen, there is no redness at all, when i poke it feels just like a bruise does. when i poke it DOESNT stay there it comes back to normal
now ive never had this before im trying to think why…
my injection procedure is the same as the previous 2 cycles…
the test e is the same ones i got for my first cycle from a source which i KNOW is legit.
i usually injection VERY VERY slowly…im talking about 4-5min! this time i did it faster…mabye 1 minute which is still pretty slow so i dont know wether its that.
today i felt ill was afraid it was a fever from possible infection but i feel much better now i think it was from no sleep.
can anyone enlighten me whether i should be worried? what steps i can take? and if you have had same problem.
4-5 mins is way to long to have a sharp needle in your muscle. its just asking for trouble in my opinion.
your “ill” feeling was probably just mental.
do you know if your source gave you test from the same pharm? I have used some extremely rough test that was nearly debilitating and some that gave me no problem at all.
Are you shakey when injecting? People always forget you have a damn needle IN your muscle and if you dont hold still you are just ripping your muscle fibers and are going to cause much more soreness. Id try heating the oil pre-injection and massaging the site post-injection.
i do heat the oil before hand, and i do massage, i am slightly shakey but the difference in pain from this injection to previous ones is unreal (thank god i dident pin the quad then i most likely would have not been able to walk at all.
the test e is the same as the one i got before which was a while ago mabye its not as high quality batch.
im just worried that this is going to happen every time i pin…as i work manual labour its not good if i cant walk! i had to take today off.
got a very similar problem with my injection…
on the following day it wasnt so bad but today on the second day it is hurting like hell. its not red, hot or swelling up but still sore.
i do have very shaky hands tho.
i keep checking for a pitting edema but there is none plus no swelling cant mean infection, right?
Sounds like both people here just had a bad injection. To the OP, try shooting your dorsal glute next time and see if problem persists. But DO filter your gear just in case. You can never be too safe. Kapulsky, you’ve got to get the shakes under control, or find sommeone else to do it. Try putting on some good music, in the beginning it helped me relax. And to both of you DON’t SHOOT your delts. Stick to large muscle groups.
Second the stay away from your delts.
I was a few cycles in before I even bothered to try, you dont want to go too deep, or put too much into it, and its kinda hard to reach if you have a big back.
Quads and glutes are nearly idiot proof, sink the needle to the hilt and squirt as much as the syringe will hold.
Although I did put about 2ml into my quad before, aspirated and everything, and it just crippled the fuck out of me, leg didnt work so well a few hours later and the day after.
I had shot that same leg with that same test for a number of weeks, and this one time just raped me.
Ive got a steady hand and very careful injection procedure, but sometimes you just hit a bad spot, you clip a nerve, it happens.
If you just clipped a nerve, or something, fuck it, it hurts, but its no infection, no redness, no heat, no problems besides pain, and you can just grit your teeth through that.
ok it is feeling much better now… just a few days of crippling pain.
now instead of opening a new post ill ask this here… is test flu real? cause i got a bit of a flu like symptoms and my mate was telling me about test flu that my body is reacting for the high test lvls, this is my second cycle and when i think about it i had the same issue with the start of my first 1 as well, got sick after the 2nd injection. just wondering if my mate is right and if i should still inject while sick?
update: its 5 days later and i still have pain in the area, when the pain first came i couldent lift my leg…now i can but it still doesnt seem to have got that much better. if i stay stationary for too long its gets very stiff.
can someone please explain why it took 24hours for the pain to come? 24hours no problem went to bed then about 3 hours later woke up in pain?
There is now some redness about and inch below the injection site. T
here isnt a pitting edema if i make an inprint of my finger it takes the same time to go back to normal as anywhere else on me.
the site is warm not hot but i touched my the left ventroglute and its the same temp.
there is a very small lump under the site which runs down towards my groin (i can feel it up to 3 inches away from site) feels like a vein… is it possible that i injected to close to some part of the circulatory or nervous system? I was under the impression that the ventroglute areas are sparce of and blood vessels etc…
could my site have been in the wrong place? if i traced a line from the site across my body it would be just over 3 inches above the base of the penis. if thats to high then will be furious with myself as ive done the ventroglute injection fine over 20times before.
as far as any feelings if sickness…the day after the injection i felt feverish as i said earlier in the thread but it went away by the night/next day. and now i dont feel sick but not 100% bit lethargic.
I know i must sound very stupid and ignorant, mabye im over reacting mabye im not, but im starting to get pissed/scared, im supposed to be pinning in two days but there is no way ill do it if my hip still feels fucked. Im actually wary and anxious of pinning at all now. and on top of that im missing a lot of work which aint good.
Dips, sry I didn’t see this until today. It sounds like you somehow got some into your lymphatic system.
As far as why it takes 24 hrs, mine always do. I don’t typically shoot Ventro, as I never seem to find it correctly. The glutes are my place of choice and I’ve never had a problem there. If gear makes it into the lymphatic system it just takes longer to disipate. So long as you aren’t feeling sick or noticing other sides besides what you’ve mentioned, I do think you are fine. But your body is working hard to move the oil around and it’s not supposed to be in the lymph system, so you’ve got 90% of your energy on fighting this off, thus the lethargy etc… If this lasts more than another 48 hours without signs of getting better or less pain, then you need to seek medical attention. But before that… Ibuprofen and ice repeat repeat repeat! This has always helped me in similar situations. Again… If it persists beyond another 48 hours go to the doctor. It’s not his/her place to judge you, it’s their job to fix you.
leg feels a lot better today thank god redness went down a bit, swelling seems to be going down from ibuprofin gel.
unless i felt a bit better today then i was definatly going to go to the doctor. Hopefully it will continue to get better. thanks for the help. ill update tomorrow
I don’t want to add to your worries but did you use a clean needle I have not read mention of this in anyones posts. Sounds like an abcess I take daily shots for multiple sclerosis and reused a needle that caused this problem with like symptoms. I was shocked when my doctor told me because I had reused needles for test-cypoinate with no problems.

I think that you’ve hit the nail on the head there…it did feel as if there was stuff in my butt lower leg as if stuff had moved around, and your right i dont feel ‘sick’ just very tired and lethargic. The two times ive gone to the gym since i got the pain ive lifted upper body and havent been weaker, just very very tired.
after reading what you wrote and whats in the injection pain sticky about hitting the lymphatic system it all adds up. although that means i manged to fuck up a ventroglute injection which again i feel retarded for doing so, think i may have injected slighty to high. not sure wether next time ill pin a glute or the left ventroglute, i usually hate doing glute shots as i cramp up twisting round for so long. i am lucky that the one injection i fucked up was a ventroglute one though…had it been a quad one i couldent imagine the pain walking would have caused the last few days!
Great to hear that it’s getting better. It sucks being scared as shit over something like this. Been there, and it sounded all too familiar. Keep the ibuprofen and ice going for about a full day after it completely stops hurting. And I am not sure how it is difficult to shoot glutes. I just stand in front of a mirror and feel for that part at the top that sticks up when you take a step. I have never gone wrong with that spot. Plus, it feels like little more than a bee sting going in. Good Luck.

If you have a wide back its almost impossible to reach properly. Lats bunch up and you cant reach well.
I can barely glute inject, like you said I can just hit it in the mirror, but Im not super steady injecting, and I need that site for big injections.
Sure I could split them between sites, but I really only like pinning my quads, glutes, and delts if I have to.
Ive done delts and tris of course but I prefer not to. Plenty of mass, just hate buying multiple needles or not sinking in all the way, pet peeve I guess.
I prefer to set up the rotations so I can pin just glutes and quads. My glutes and quads don’t hurt at all going in, no pain.
What I need is a girlfriend who is open to the steroids thing.
