I started my cycle of Test E. 500mg per week for 10 weeks. I just started my second week and I’m having a lot of pain in my ASS! I took the whole 2cc’s the first week and also the second week too.
I had a bit of pain and swelling during my first injection, but this second one hurts even more and is more swollen than the first, even through I move to the other side of ass.
It really doesn’t hurt to walk around or even sit, just hurts really bad when I initially sit down or touch it.
Also, it does not hurt at injection point, but a the top of my ass and towards my crack. Is this normal? Should I start by breaking up my injections example: 1cc on Sunday and 1cc on Thursday? and when should I start to see some really major gains? Thanks
Oh and also, I am using a 22g needle by 1 inch long…is that ok?
Virgin muscles will hurt when injected first time. You should be injecting at least twice a week for test e, and it couldnt hurt to switch to a 25 guage for injecting, and you can still use your 22g to draw. Test E shouldnt/doesnt hurt all that much… suck it up.
I know its going to hurt. I just want to make sure that I am doing everything the correct way. So everything that I stated above is correct except for injecting 500mg at once. I should do two injections a week, breaking them up 250mg each. Correct? thanks for the comments

Make sure you are injecting at a 45 degree angle and not 90. I had the same kind of problem, my ass was sore for a week.
Unless you are an extremely skinny or small guy I would stick with the 22GA but move to a 1.5" tip instead. You possibly are not penetrating deep enough into the muscle.
Also be sure that you are injecting into the correct portion of your cheek.
See Ya
Go to a 23 guage 1.5" at the least. I would recommend 25 guage. The needle you are using now is too fat, and too short.
Heat your oil before injecting. This will make the oil more viscous, and easier to inject. I always put mine in a heating pad for 20-30 minutes prior to injection.
Make sure you keep the needle steady during injection, any movement while the needle is in your body is causing trauma.
I have never heard the 45 degree thing, and I really don’t think it makes that big of a difference. If you keep the needle steady, and don’t tighten up you will be fine - even if you injected at an 84 degre angle.
Thanks guys on all the advice. The only reason I got the 22g 1 inch long was because thats all the store had in stock at the time. I don’t believe they sell any over 1 inch long. Any advice on common stores that carry needles??
I don’t know why you guys are opting with a 45 degree insertion for gluteal intra-muscular injections, but that’s defeating the point. It’s not hurting as bad because you’re not injecting the fluid into the muscle tissue (where you want it), but are instead injecting it into the lipoid layer (where you don’t want it). It’s going to hurt more, but unless you inject it directly into the muscle, the absorption rate will make it self-defeating to inject so much fluid. Stick with a 90 degree approach. Whether it hurts or not, do it the right way.
I’ve made everything clean with alcohol pads. I’ve pre-heated my oil, even slowly injected the oil. I have to inject on thursday again so I’ll try the 45 degree angle because I cannot get my hands on any 1.5 23 or 25 gauge needles that soon. Thanks for the comments and feedback. Respect

the angle at which you inject is very important. believe me i was having the same problems and since injecting at 45 i have been fine.
I have been injecting an average 3 days week for the better part of the last 2 years, and I have never needed to pull out a protractor for any of my injections.
I have no idea where you are getting your information, but for deep IM shots, a 45 degree angle will not get you to the depth you need to be - especially with a 1" needle.
Proper needle size, needle length, and properly preparing both the injection site, and the oil to be injected are far more important than the angle of attack.
